I think theres a good chance that a team will rent Dwight for the rest of the season and take their chances with him in the offseason. Getting Dwight on a playoff contender could put a team over the top and win a championship. Dwight will get traded imo, there is too much interest being created at this point for him not to.

The Magic are adamant on not trading him.

I don't see why Chicago doesn't throw Boozer, Noah, Brewer, Watson + picks or something like that to Orlando for Howard and Turk.

Sure there team is doing fine now and maybe they don't want to mess things up. But I think Howard may be a safe gamble.

Per Brian Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinel: “Magic have talked to OKC but Thunder balks at giving up Ibaka and Harden to rent Dwight.”

If Dwight would resign with them they should do it in a heartbeat.

That team lacks a low post scorer and that will probably do them in.

If it’s true Dwight’s ($400 mill) shoe deal in Brooklyn is larger than DRose’s, plus Russian billionaire promi$e$, can’t blame D12 for move

dwight would be dumb to not resign in okc. that team would run through the league.

Agreed. I'd be shocked if he didn't want to keep playing with Russy, Harden & Durant.

Harden wouldn't be there. He would be the centerpiece of this hypothetical trade.

It's also obvious that winning is not his only focus. He would never get the same amount of fame or endorsements in OKC, as opposed to New York/LA.

Problem is Dwight has a big number and Harden and Ibaka are both still on rookie contracts I believe? Perk would have to be in the deal to make it work.

that does make sense. what i don't think makes sense is how people believe the market you play in makes you money, when you're a superstar you'll make side bank no matter where you play..

I don't think it makes sense because telling the Lakers that he would not resign with them a few weeks after naming them as a team really doesn't make any difference. Otis Smith was still looking at all options and wasn't just looking at the Lakers.

they have the best package, aside from picks. when dwight said that he knew they would get serious. him walking to nj with deron and that current team/picks would be a top three team in the east.
