if we knew that he would resign we probably would do that in a heartbeat but I'm with management not wanting to do it because there is no guarantee.

To me the riskier part is if they can gel together and gel quickly. If not they might not reach the finals.

DJT, the Thunder have the best shot at winnig a title now.

Why would they trade for Dwight with no certainty? It's not like their starting five is getting worse...

Out of the west I agree.

Getting Dwight should make it that much easier to win the west, and potentially win the finals.

Except the Thunders bench would be shit. They would be the Miami Heat of the West, but with a worse bench

Yet Miami is still favored to take the cake.

-3 wins for OKC. Like I said, bad/stupid/pointless trade

That wouldn't be the deal. Iirc it was just Ibaka and Harden for Howard. I think the contracts are a little off for the Thunder. They don't update the contracts at all

Ibaka and Harden doesn't work salary wise

HoopsHype is always good on salaries.

Or David, use the Trade Machine and make any possible OKC/ORL deal work salary wise, with a few conditions

1. Thunder only get Dwight
2. Harden and Ibaka must be in the deal
3. No 3/4 team deals
4. OKC must have positive wins added

Post the trade once you do such.

One more time....

He won't get anything near that in insignificant OKC.
a monster shoe deal can happen anywhere. hes never going to have jordan or lebron type shoe line anyways. and nola, brooklyn with deron, brook, brooks, dwight AND a lottery pick is good enough to contend over 5-7 years..

The Magic, Warriors and Hornets are in discussions on a three-team trade, two league sources confirmed.

Monta Ellis, Andris Biedrins and Dorell Wright would be sent by the Warriors to the Magic.

Ryan Anderson, J.J. Redick, Hedo Turkoglu and Quentin Richardson would be the main outgoing pieces from Orlando.

The Hornets' exact involvement is unclear, but believed to be centered around Chris Kaman.

No trade is imminent but talks are ongoing say sources.

idk why he wouldn't want to go to okc or chicago. if those reports are true he'd be on a super stacked team.
Exactly, I would do that as well if I were Dwight.

Man imagine Durant, Westbrook, and Dwight. Omg, the world would end....

They would never win a title.

Plus that core would never stay together because of the new cap restrictions.

Why couldn't they win a title? I'd be afraid of them

Two max deals and a bunch of other guys couldn't work? It's only been the formula to success since forever

Two max guys and Lopez who's going to get a huge deal from someone, Brooks will surely get a huge deal when his rookie deal is up, but that's obviously a long ways away. Not to mention Humphries is a FA this summer.

And they wouldn't win a title because there are simply better teams out there. Better ran teams, better coached teams, etc.

Nobody's going to give Lopez a huge deal, especially since he hasn't been able to stay healthy this season.
