Charlie Villanueva has agreed to a five-year deal with the Pistons. His contract is worth at least $35 million.

We need help up front soooo bad, damn we are soft and small. Bynum and Ben will be forced to play with eachother, 5'9 and 6'0 backcourt FTL

But like I said, we fired Curry so I'm not as mad <_<

the thing i don't get is how un-piston like this is. Pistons used to be about defense and control and sharing the ball, but that does not fit CV31 or Gordon at all. That's why I'm baffled

These were nice deals for the Pistons, both players were a bit overpaid though.

But I just read this crazy rumor that the signing of both of these guys has something to do with Jim Calhoun coming to Detroit (they both went to UConn if you didn't know).

I don't believe that at all, but it does kinda make sense.

Gotta sell tickets. Bad economically in Detroit, obviously not for the owner of the Pistons, but fans won't come out to watch the team unless there is excitement. Now they have it with Gordon and CV.

Yeah like I said I don't believe that all, but it's still interesting none the less.
