Yeah....the NBAPA isn't gonna let that happen...ever.
This is why we had a lockoutmvxxie said:in case they are losing money, they should lower players' salaries.
All joking aside I loved the lockout-shortened season. I feel like the schedule should be like that every year, but maybe a bit more spread out because the NBAPA will complain about injuries haha.buzzy said:Lockout was fun. Let's do that again.
66 games made games matter more and they were played more often so you didn't have like 3-4 days sometimes without seeing your favorite team.RipCity32 said:I've always preferred the 82 game season.
We had some back to back to backs, didn't we?CameronCrazy06 said:All joking aside I loved the lockout-shortened season. I feel like the schedule should be like that every year, but maybe a bit more spread out because the NBAPA will complain about injuries haha.
Yeah you can start it at like December 1st and end it a bit earlier then.RipCity32 said:Yeah but in that format it is also a way longer off-season. I don't want to wait until Christmas to watch basketball.
Way too many days off if that was the case.buzzy said:We had some back to back to backs, didn't we?
I'd like a 60 something game schedule but over the timespan of the current calendar.
I feel like we're never gonna go away from the 82 game season. Not in our lifetime.
60 games over that stretch would basically be 2-3 games a week which is so much time off sometimes. I think the time of the season calendar wise should be shorter so they play more games in less days. But then they should also shorten the games because 82 is too much.buzzy said:We had some back to back to backs, didn't we?

I don't know about that. It has more to do with different people having different opinions. He wasn't going to stick his nose in Stern's business and force things on him.RipCity32 said:Feel like he is going to try to change too much to make his legacy on the league.
Think it should be like baseball. Either leave out of HS or stay 3 years. No in between.Mexi said:Adam silver said yesterday that theyve looked at starting later
Also i think he favors 2 years in college and a 20 year old age limit
This thread has become a future of the NBA thread. Not bad, good discussion
