See, here's the thing. Its easy to say that when you aren't paying them personally, or even looking at monetary figures. But I'll help here
 

 
What shows are the monetary figures of each player's current contracts and a corresponding max contract as well. I think Draymond could be a DPVE candidate, but for points sake lets say he isn't. With these figures, they show what ownership would have to pay with everyone named, and the rest of the roster filled by rookie minimums contracts.
 
Next season, they'll have $75M in luxury taxes alone, followed by $174M, and then "only" $67M once Iggy and Livvy leave. Again, this would be Durant, Curry, Klay, Draymond, Iggy and Livvy for 2 years, and 6-8 players on rookie minimum contracts (meaning the numbers go up with MLEs and veteran minimums). 
 
The Warriors will probably keep the team through next year, but you're out of your mind if you think they're going near $174M in taxes alone (its more than the salaries!!). And yes, they all could theoretically take less money. Yet of the 3 upcoming contracts, Durant is the only one with earnings under his belt. Klay will have made $78M once he deal ends, and Draymond with $84M, and its much harder to say no to the money at that point
 
I just don't see Klay conceding enough $$ to make the stay with the Warriors continue.
