If the Giants are drafting top 5, they're drafting Eli's replacement.
Why draft a QB if you can't protect him?

Honestly if I'm them I got LT early, trade for a late 1st and then take a QB. Hopefully someone drops, it happens.

I can't see them cutting Eli, and they're not drafting someone top 5 to sit on the bench for 2 seasons.

What is with Gruden? The receiver can't put his hand on the dback's helmet and push off. Obvious penalty lol

At the same time, Boger's crew throws WAY too many flags

Also, super impressed by Trubisky's arm so far

How many prime time games does Jerome Boger's crew need to ruin with endless borderline penalties before they either fire him or stop letting him officiate nationally broadcast games? This is fucking ridiculous.

Trubisky looks good

Not impressed by the AFC at all outside of KC

The NFC is gonna be a dog fight all year long, with the West being the only team I can't see 3 or more teams capable of making the playoffs.

Packers- Vikings and Panthers-Eagles will be fun next week

Can't wait to see Roger Lewis Jr go up against that Broncos secondary on SNF.

Eli might not throw for 100 yards.

Well, it's ultimately up to whether or not the talent evaluators see any of the QB prospects as a potential franchise guy.  If not, don't reach for a guy just because you have a high pick, but if their guy falls into their lap, they'd be dumb to pass on him.

If Eli is still on the roster, he's going to start over a rookie QB, so just continue to build the team until the prospect is ready to take the reigns.  It's a hell of a lot easier to rebuild a roster once you have your franchise QB in place.

I'm way too optimistic about this Eagles team.

This is gonna end in heartbreak.

McCaffery has been underwhelming this year. I never thought he was a top 10 guy, but I thought he'd be a difference maker for the Panthers offense and I'm not sure he is.

The Eagles corners are playing well above what was expected and it'll only get better when Darby comes back. This Eagles defense is fast and disciplined, and wow can they tackle.

As for the offense, you could tell the OL was missing its best player last night. Vitai is certainly a solid player but Lane Johnson is probably the best RT in football. Wentz had another very good game with a low completion percentage, which seems to be an odd trend for him so far this season. Considering the amount of times he got hit last night it's important to praise him for not letting that first lost fumble snowball into more turnovers. I also appreciated the way he hit the defense back on some runs, but he needs to quit lol. He had a few amazing throws last night but still needs to find Jeffery more. The running game looks good and whiLe I wish Sproles hadn't gotten injured, the best thing that has happened to this Eagles offense is Pederson not being comfortable calling so many screen passes anymore.

Yeah I always thought he was overvalued. He's just missing something.

Hes very Dion Lewis-esque. Can run in between the tackles, but thats not his skill set. Hes best in the open field, making plays with his agility and acceleration to make guys miss
