McCaffery has been underwhelming this year. I never thought he was a top 10 guy, but I thought he'd be a difference maker for the Panthers offense and I'm not sure he is.

bowman told lynch he didnt want to stay in san fran anymore. sure, they could have traded him for a 5th or something, but by cutting him and letting him do it his way, it shows San Fran will do things in the players best interest, which will help them a TON in future FA negotiations

I'm sorry -- I love Brady, but if he actually misses gametime this season, he's gotta be done. Not in terms of this season; he'll finish the season until seriously injured, but Jimmy will be the starter come 2018, if not Bledsoe-ing Tom himself and just seizing control of the starting position himself. If Brady misses time for health related issues, its gotta be his last season with us. We can't lose Garoppolo if Tom isn't the starter over the next four seasons or more.
