Anyways, I think this Warriors team is the best of all time and they might be better next year after they figure out more effective ways to use KD

warriors should win but im picking the team with the best player on the floor

I guess im crazy?
I still just don't know what that's supposed to mean. So what if he's the best player when the other team has 2 MVPs and way above average role players? Once again last night, him being the best player didn't mean anything. Not saying they will lose the Finals yet but it's just interesting how people can discredit this Warriors team like that.

I have a new take

KD is simply unguardable. Its pretty amazing he hasnt won a title already or at least made the finals more than twice

KD always stopped himself. He would stop being aggressive because of westbrook
If he had another pg, hed still be on his former team. Imagine him with wall, or chris paul, or harden.

This is on westbrook.
ive been saying this for a while, and it's probably why i'm like the only one on this board who isn't upset with KD's move to GS

Durant did not want to play with Westbrook, period. Russ is a talented player for sure, but his style of play forces way too many shots without proper ball movement, and forces a team to play iso heavy offense. Russ is a ballhog, and it became even more obvious of that this year when he had a record high USG%.

He was never returning to play with Russ last offseason. So he had his options elsewhere -- Clippers, Celtics, and Warriors. Why the fuck would he not choose the Warriors? He was already friends with Draymond and Iggy, and what he wanted the most was to win a title.

Clippers would have had to do so much finagling around the roster that i'm not sure who they'd even have outside of cp3 and i doubt they'd contend. boston would have been close, but at the same time look how cleveland just dismantled them; they look a little more than just one star away

It's a fucking obvious decision to join the Warriors. I don't care if Jordan, or Bird, or Magic didn't go team hopping and stayed with their teams, because they were happy where they were. Reports were flying last year that KD was not happy with playing with RW, and so when he hit FA he joined the team that gave him the best shot of winning a title. And look, he just scored 38 in Game 1 where nobody outside of him and Steph hit double digits. As of this point they're on pace to win the title BECAUSE of Durant, and that's why he's justified for doing what he did

I'm not upset with his decision...

I mean selfishly I guess I am because this isn't very entertaining and I want Bron to win more titles. But I don't fault Durant for making this decision, like how can I? I've said multiple times I would have done the exact same thing

There's multiple people you can blame for KD's decision. Mostly Westbrook and LeBron

What are the odds that Durant finishes with more rings than LeBron?

The Warriors only had four fucking turnovers as a team.  Is that a record?

Yes (tied). And I recall two of them were because Steph got too cocky with his passes, like he always does.
