Wasn't Nola one of the biggest Rondo detractors on the board? Can't wait to see that flip

I'd take Rose for the room exception

Never said I'm thrilled with it, I think Jrue will be better because of it, but I don't think Rondo moves the needle at all.

its different pace thats the question

with the lack of shooters on that team (and adding rondo does not help), that team should be in the Top 3 in plays ran with the P&R, whether being ran by Rondo, Jrue, or the AD/Boogie big P&R... it should happen a freaking ton.

Jrue's definitely better as the off-ball guard who has secondary ball handling duties, and i think his numbers and efficiency will go up with rondo at the point. but for the plays where jrue has the ball in his hands -- you've somehow come to the point where your off-ball shooters are Rondo and Solomon Hill, which means teams are just going to crowd the paint even harder

I'm curious to see if they try and get someone that can stagger the minutes between Rondo and Hill

"The noise" is by the media and the uninformed, hardly by me

We're gonna be better than we were last year by a solid 5-6 game rate (we overacheived by 6 games last year according to stats), and be a solid 55-58 win team. We'll lose in the ECF again to Lebron, and that's fine (although it will definitely be a closer series this time). There wasn't anything to be done that could overtake Lebron in the first place, except Lebron himself.

I fail to see how an offseason where we add Gordon Hayward, Jayson Tatum, and another Top 5 pick next year is "sad". It's a better offseason than well over 80% of the rest of the league had

Just look at those names you just posted above and tell me it isnt sad

Really look

Losing bradley and the frontcourt depth hurts more than you realize i think

And hayward is nice i guess, but hes not special bro. Yall will be good for the regular season, sure get 5-6 more wins but what are you realistically expecting from this squad when it matters?
