The second biggest rattling in this early baseball season, behind your reactions to the dodgers not being in first place

I'd also like to point out that Kiermaier's defensive numbers suck this year, randomly
Yeah. Probably just small sample noise though.

He's still got 8 defensive runs saved.

UZR just takes a full season to balance out.

He's remarkably bad.

Good thing he's only getting paid $22M per year until 2020.

Literally nothing worse than losing 2-0 because the opposing pitcher hits a 2 run home run

Fuck the cardinals and wainwright

I think it's an aberration, there was a stretch last year in which they went 35-34. I think they will be fine but they are definitely not the same team as last year. I think the concerns with Lackey and Arrieta are real. Everybody else will be fine. I think they make prospects for a middle of the rotation SP before the deadline and then make a blockbuster this winter for a top of the rotation type.

Yeah they're not in trouble in terms of division. They will still win the central easily

Arrieta, lackey concerns are very real. I agree
Hendricks has been ok, but last year was obviously a massive fluke. His fastball is down to 86 after 3 years of 89.2-89.7

Baez, schwarber could be better sure. But not that much better. Ive never liked russell so im not surprised to see him suck
Ive lost hope in heyward. Zobrist is alright, but he's definitely declining now. Wont come close to last year's production

So yeah there should be some concern. But they will still make the playoffs and from there anything can happen

Theyre 3rd best in the nl behind Washington and LA. I still put the cubs over colorado

Thought you were talking about Betts since he used to play CF and right field at Fenway is another CF.

Benintendi doesn't have the arm for centre.
Yes, but he's played CF and that's regarded as his main position.

I think it would be great if Rockies win the division. They've never won it before.

I know he was drafted and came through the system that way.

Just saying, Jackie is obviously the much preferred defensively.

The Red Sux just can't beat the Orioles.  Whenever we play them, we suck.  It's pathetic.

He's not the worst though.  And I don't think he's that bad.  But the regression was obvious.  He's not as much accountable for our bad offense as other guys are.

Vazquez is easily hitting over his head like Leon last year.

The main problem is we haven't utilized Swihart.

Personally, I can't stand Porcello.

But let's let the Orioles hit their 30 to 40 homeruns because that's all they got.  After that, the team runs out of gas.  Their offense is completely one dimensional, though I'll admit it's worked in past years until the postseason.  That's where they've come up empty.
