Its really sad that, by far, Bostons best player as of late has been David Price

You just qualified him not sucking in the postseason with regular season stats. Good work.
He was actually pretty good in the postseason for some sporadic years.

Point is, I don't deny a larger sample size of stats and "talent" just because of a few "trivial" times he hasn't been spectacular.  He still is the best pitcher, still has movement with his pitches and still has nasty talent.  Can't deny any of that.

But I'll just make sure to never build my playoff team with David Price, Clayton Kershaw, and Corey Kluber because they've all sucked in the postseason one way or another.  Problem solved.

But he's the biggest choker in the postseason... (that was sarcasm if you didn't get it, not directed at you)

Postseason pitchers is the biggest narrative I've ever heard.  Remember when they said Josh Beckett was "the best pitcher on the planet" in 2007?  They said he was a great postseason pitcher and look what happened.  He choked himself out of Boston years later.  The guy became best friends with the DL and isn't even pitching now.  He tanked in the 2008 and 2009 postseasons.

I can't wait until Kershaw throws a no-hitter and shuts everyone up.

I mean, he's not wrong. Even when Kershaw has a great game he gives up the big hit -
Murphy HR in the nlds in 2015, for example.

Jason Kipnis' walk up music has very distinct saxophone noises, and people in the crowd jam out with fake saxes. It's great

Well at least we're not the Nationals.  They're the biggest joke in the postseason.

And Dusty Baker seems to be on every losing postseason team.

because theyre afraid to take him out because our pen always sucks

He was so done last night. But they let him go back out and it backfired. His fastball in the 7th was at 90 and he really only had 1 pitch all game. 6 innings and 2 solo shots. Take him out, especially vs 6-7-8.

But good thing they had a lead

dusty is too stubborn. Its like he doesnt care about anyone or anything except for whats in his mind.

But also these guys should be getting more hits. Cubs are toying with them. Got hot at the right time and should make it to the world series

I picked Cubs from day 1.  Still running with them to be in the World Series.  Indians win this time though.

A legit, "top 10 of all time" pitcher should be able to escape most situations.you should hold a great pitcher, like Kershaw, above those players. You expect more out of them.

I'd take the Nationals performance over the Red Sox's so far
Well, now that the events have turned, I'd have to agree.

But I was talking about all the years in general.
