Why do you want a Mozgov for 4 years when you're the Lakers. Makes zero sense. I understand being shitty for another year but after that .. ?

Any time you can pay 64 million to a guy who literally couldn't crack the rotation of the champs, you gotta do it.

You get the feeling the Lakers and Knicks are on the right track until you give them money to spend and they prove to you they're still comlletely inept

Also, $64M seems a lot more than it really is. It's the equivalent of $11M of the old cap, which is what Robin Lopez got last summer. Very similar contracts

Mozgov is worse than RoLo, but Lopez is on a solid deal. So is Mozgov if the Lakers think they'll get '15 Moz

I would hope nobody is going to complain and act shocked about how much certain guys are going to get this summer.

There are a BILLION cap dollars out there this summer, and 500 million more coming next season. And there are like 7 good free agents, 10 solid starters, and everyone else is just meh. Just that we will convince ourselves will help our teams but in reality really won't. That money is going to be spent.
too late

If Mozgov got 16M a year Biyombo wouldn't be completely out of his mind asking for well over 20

Phil Jackson still has no idea what he's doing. And I really hope the Lakers get into a bidding war for Evan Turner

I mean come on dude. Everybody knew players would get more money. But this isn't a good player getting more money because of the cap raise, this is someone who hasn't done dick getting a big ass pay check. If you're telling me you would have predicted Mozgov is gonna get anywhere near 50+ million, on minute one of Free Agency no less, you're lying to all of us.

He had 15 fucking points all playoffs and he gets $16 million a year. Alright.
