It doesn't negate anything.  YOu are the only one that negated things.  I included the last 45 days, you included just the month of June.

Am I supposed to hold this against them or what? They lost their best power bat in Schwarber, and currently down 2 starting OF in Fowler and Soler. A large part of sports is overcoming obstacles along the way, hardly qualifies as an excuse
 
Sure Hendricks has been great the past month and a half, that doesn't make him better than Lester or Arrieta.

1)  Right now Hendricks is the Cubs best pitcher over the past 45 days.  That's all that matters.
2)  Schwarber is not their best power bat.  That's Rizzo and Bryant.  Kyle may get there
3)  Soler was not one of the starting OFers.

Astros lose a heartbreaker to the A's last night. Our closer, Will Harris, has given up 1 run to the Yankees, Rays, and Angels this season, none to every other team in the MLB, and then 5 runs to the A's. I'd say that he's not a big fan of Oakland

Soler was most definitely one of the starting OFers, Schwarber debatable in terms of pure power.
 
The Cubs two best SP are still Arrieta and Lester, which is the words I started, which are correct
