Soler was most definitely one of the starting OFers, Schwarber debatable in terms of pure power.

The Cubs two best SP are still Arrieta and Lester, which is the words I started, which are correct
You did start with that and I showed where you are DEAD WRONG.  Hendricks is the Cubs current best pitcher on staff now for the past 55 days and counting.

The Starting OF the Cubs lost was Kyle.  Soler was not the starter.  Up to his injury Soler started 35 of 56 games.  That's a 4th string OF thrown in to play more than they wanted.

You said 45 days, now you're changing it. What a great sample size, remember when Matt Latos had a good 45 days? Because that's about the time it took him from being turned around by the wonderful Sox staff to being released.

Lol ok, when Soler was injured he was the starter. Kyle played like 5 games, so the Cubs apparently don't get a new starting LF the rest of the season, got it.

Astros lose 2 of 3 to Oakland and still gain a game on the Arlington Rangers. Fangraphs has the Astros as the favorite to win the division now. It'd be nice to add a SP and a LHP to the bullpen. Even without those additions, I think we are looking good in the second half just by bringing up Bregman (which i expect to be announced after his game tonight) and Gurriel in August. Those 2 additions will be good boosts to the offense to help keep things moving.

Correa is on pace for 100+ RBI and Altuve is hotter than the Sun right now.

Do you know what and counting means?  I changed not a thing.  I always said 45 days and added the ten since you went with the unfound statement of the Cubs not throwing their best against Texas.

As for Soler...LOL...right, they played no one out there in LF at times.  Your starting LF SUCKS if he can only play 65% of the time.

Ok the White Sox get to pick a Cubs starter to have the rest of the season, are you picking Hendricks over Arrieta? Over Lester? Hahn probably would to which is why they are in the situation they are in

So who is the Cubs starting LF then after Schwarber? Wow they are even better than I thought to be in first place with only 8 starters on the roster

Big homestand coming up for the Jays. Mariners, Padres, Orioles. 3 series wins would be so clutch

1)  they hodge podge LF together.
2)  You are asking a question that is not related to the actual issue we are discussing.  We are discussing if Texas went against the best the Cubs have to offer.  Yes, they went against their best pitcher by quite a lot in Hendricks.

The Sox definitely put a hurting on the Twins last night.  Impressive offensive showing and Wright showed that he can control that butterfly he throws.

Mookie is such a beast though. If he adds another homerun this month, he has a legit shot at 30.

Been a beast defensively as well. 11 DRS and 11 UZR/150.

Mookie leads back to back games off with a homer.

That was all the Sox got off Gibson tonight.  He pitched probably his best game in his career tonight.  This is why the Twins drafted him in the 1st round a few years back.  Now if they could get another 1st rounder (Buxton) going.........
2-1 Twins tonight.  Very good game on both sides.

Just for the record, the twins and Red Sox have played 608 games in their series.  They have each won 304 games.

I don't see how he's having a big year though he started off so poorly

But I had him in fantasy and stuck with him this whole time in your honor haha.
