Speaking of field goal %

People should now realize that Kobes percentages were good for sucha volume scorer

MJ is the only one to have such volume and stay around 50%

Kobe was around 45%

These younger guys keep going lower and its fucked up bc its so much easier to score nowadays than it used to be

Westbrook is overrated and its a shame that the stupid triple doubles that he hunts for are going to decide the mvp
Its unfortunate

Hes also taken 300 more shots than harden and its been proven he hunts and is greatly helped by his teammates for the rebounds
Also the 6th seed

Meanwhile the rockets have greatly surpassed every single prediction by clinching 3rd place and why is that? Harden
Hes having a historic season too

What really is bugging me though is the double standard. James in 2015 was the 2nd seed. They were a surprise team. His help was trevor ariza and dwight howard. Meanwhile steph has klay and draymond and iggy. But that didnt stop steph from winning with lesser numbers (not that james has lesser numbers this year)

A ton of players could do what russell does with his usage rate and help from teammates letting him pad the boards
No one could do what james is doing for houston. Except lebron

Its just a shame

westbrook is barely a top 5 point guard

Steph, harden, chris paul are definitely above him.
You could make a case for john wall and isaiah, but i give westbrook a very slight edge over wall for 4th. There's definitely a case for wall though

leaves his man to chase rebounds, has a insane usage rate and takes a shit ton of shots because of that

If harden took 24 shots a game hed be averaging around 40 points

Pretty much any volume scorer is overrated to me
That means kobe, iverson for sure. Possibly MJ...but no one wants to hear that. I know youll have a heart attack

Thats why i like guys like lebron, harden, kd, steph, chris paul. They dont need 25 shots to get 30

Like i can sit here and say Harden had a phenomenal year and was just got edged out in the last few weeks of what Russ has been doing

During that 4 game losing stretch by okc i thought it was a wrap and harden was gonna win it

Harden has played great and had an MVP like season, but this is just incomprihensible man. You can use every excuse in the books, but why hasnt anyone went out and done it? You know how much it takes? Just the fact that he did it, its getting so over looked. People have become numb to it, its become like the norm, but he also did it while carrying them to the playoffs, for me thats the impressive part. 48ish wins in the west after KD leaving is impressive anyway you wanna put it. Anyway, both had mvp like seasons man, both led their no all star having teams pretty well, it just had to be one or the other dog, and the triple double/history topped it off

Russ alone would average 40/15 in MDA system and all those shooters around him, dont even go there

Iverson shot 42% on the dot

Bill Russell shot 42.6% in one of his MVP years

I don't know if Westbrook can keep up this pace in a 7 game series against a playoff caliber opponent. His teammates are going to have to step up at some point.

Can we stop acting like harden is getting screwed, mexi? Maybe if he played defense he'd have a better case........
