5th guard, apparently Gentry and Dell are serious about going 11-12 deep on most nights so my guess is if we sign Terry everybody but Perkins and either Babbitt/Gee (maybe both) will play if healthy.  Mostly I just think it would be cool to see him on the Pelicans after watching him in my division for so long lol

Well I meant you said he is using the Pelicans, and vise versa.

Oh shit, my bad.

People think that Terry is "using" the Pelicans to get a better offer from Houston, and New Orleans is using Terry to get Norris Cole to sign a contract.

Neither makes any sense because Houston is offering the biggest contract they can offer Terry, which is the vets minimum, they can't offer more than they are offering right now.  New Orleans has a offer on the table for Cole (the QO) that they can't pull without his permission, regardless he's a RFA so we can match.  My thought behind this is, and I'll use you as an example, say your current employer says "we are going to offer you 80K a year to work for us, and that offer is not going anywhere anytime soon.  Go ahead and see if you can find anything better, but just so you know we will likely match any offer any other competitor offers you to keep you with us.  You have until October 1st to let us know."  Would you agree to their offer of 80K a year TODAY, August 9th?  Any logical person would answer no.

Ahh, yeah I forgot about the Norris Cole aspect.
But yeah that doesn't make much sense lol

I think I'd actually prefer Terry to Cole for this team, I don't know though.

I can't wait for the instantaneous complaining about the Lakers and Knicks national tv schedule.

Networks care more about ratings than appeasing fans. It's been that way and it'll stay that way.

No, Rich Paul (his agent) said they are considering taking the QO, and if they do it would be his last year on the Cavs.

It's the only move they could make to attempt to get back any sort of leverage.
