We could potentially have Joe, Tristan, David West, Mo Williams/JR, and Delly off the bench

Problem is two of their top three players are not dependable.

If Tyreke doesn't take off with this new staff I'm afraid he is what he is, which is still a good player. But he's been dieting and should be in the best shape of his pro career, Gentry should fit him into a offense better than any professional coach has, Erman should really help him off the ball, and we just brought shooting specialist Phil Weber onto the staff. If he buys in, he should be in the best shape he's been in, play the best defense he has, and have his best shooting season. I can't wait.

Seriously, I dont see how David West doesnt go to the Cavs. Trade Varejao and sign West.

What's going with Marc Gasol?
Why is it taking so long?

I don't think that's even remotely the case, his limitations (outside shooting and awareness off ball defensively) are two things that are arguably most easily approved upon and the Pelicans brought in two of the brightest minds in those departments. Not to mention the system, I think it's a MUCH better fit for him.

Brandon Bass was a weird player.  Weird in the sense that I could never really tell if he was actually good or not.
