James' agent, Rich Paul, has made it known to the Cavs that serious talks on a new deal for James will not take place until a new contract for restricted free agent Tristan Thompson is in place. Paul also represents Thompson.

Lebron is gonna be the worst GM/Owner in NBA history when his playing career is over.

Lakers hardly ever had cap room to sign Free Agents, because they had successful rosters, with Kobe, Pau, and Odom carrying high enough cap hits to prevent a Max FA from signing

But they got Pau from Memphis. They got Dwight from Orlando. The should have gotten Chris Paul from New Orleans. They also had smaller moves like singing MWP, Nash, etc that were considered big at the time but just never played well.

Name me other teams that acquired that much talent over that time span. I have the Celtics, Heat, Rockets, and Cavaliers.

LA absolutely has the big market allure. And the Knicks would too if it werent obvious to everybody that Dolan is awful.
True, I think my point was mostly about the knicks.

I can't imagine he'll be the NBAPA vice president trying to get players as much money as possible when that day comes, but yes, he does suck regardless

Raptors signed Bismack. Our front court is much stronger this season I think
He might end up being a big black hole offensively, but I really like this signing considering raps are in need of a good rim protector.

IDK if these have been posted or not, but...
Dante Cunningham - 3/9m with Pelicans
Rodney Stuckey - 3/21m with Pacers
Richard Jefferson - 1/vet min with Maviercks
CJ Watson - 3/15m with Magic

Speaking of Indy, I seen people on RealGM claiming they would still be a top 8 team in the East.
Am I the only one who thinks there is no way that happens?

Me too, I like him. Want to see him play pretty badly.

i dont think they hold onto a playoff spot. i think we fight them for bottom of the division. i dont think either of us are terrible though.

I think our ceiling is like 6 seed. But our floor is like 13.
I really don't know lol. I need to see how Dre and Reggie look in the pre-season before I can come up with a more concrete prediction.
