Actually option 1 was Wes Matthews, but when he turned them down, Bron was their fallback

Like I said earlier, he's vastly overrated in the way that he's not some modern day Bill Russell. I even said it in one of those quoted posts, just because someone's overrated doesn't mean they aren't good or even great. He's just not elite. Excellent rebounder, excellent shot blocker, changes even more shots. But there are other things there. His lower IQ makes him a poor defender on ball screens (31st percentile) which is huge in the NBA. And the thing that stands out the most, when teams were able to get a shot up to th backboard, Jordan allowed the 10th highest fg% among C's, which tells me rather than being fundamentally sound he's taking to many risks and going after blocks rather than being vertical.
