Monroe could slide back to center hypothetically
hes gotta play center no doubt. doesnt do enough for the four position imo. hes only good with his back to the basket on the low block. useless anywhere else.

I really think NY should explore trading Melo, building around him is impossible. He's a one man show.

Id rather a hungry cat, wanting to prove himself over a proven scorer, who will probably never change

How so? I only got NBAtv only saw spot games of him in Portland

I figured his ability to stretch the floor/Defense is mainly what they need, damn sure don't need 18ppg from him.
He just didn't play very well i

Report: LeBron James Wants Dunleavy in Cleveland

Following a solid 2014-15 campaign that saw Dunleavy start 63 games for the Chicago Bulls and average 9.4 points per game, a move to an even more serious title contender may be in the cards for the 13-year vet.

According to ESPN.com's Marc Stein, Cavs superstar LeBron James is hopeful that general manager David Griffin will acquire Dunleavy.

King James is a free agent as well after opting out of his contract, but he is expected to return to Cleveland for the 2015-16 season, per ESPN.com's Chris Broussard.

LeBron's supporting cast is very much in question, though, as Kevin Love and J.R. Smith are unrestricted free agents, while Tristan Thompson and Matthew Dellavedova are restricted, according to Spotrac.com.

Dunleavy has been around the block with four franchises, and Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com believes he brings a skill set that would make him a great fit on the Cavs roster:

The Cavaliers are lacking in terms of catch-and-shoot guys, especially if Smith departs. Cleveland also finished in the middle of the pack during the playoffs in terms of three-point shooting at just 34 percent.

Dunleavy shot nearly 41 percent from beyond the arc last season, which suggests that he'll be able to knock down open shots as opposing defenses focus on James.
While the Cavs may have some interest in Dunleavy, the Bulls don't intend to willingly let him walk, per K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune:

Chicago will be able to offer Dunleavy more money, but the Cavaliers will likely provide a better opportunity to win an NBA title, especially if Love returns.

Dunleavy has played in just 26 postseason games over the course of his career, but that number will almost certainly go up significantly if he signs with Cleveland. He could be a key supporting piece to a championship puzzle.

Also, if the Spurs need to clear space for Aldridge, the Cavs have that Haywood contract... We could take Splitter's contract, and then in return get Mills or Diaw, dog.

Nah, don't need Splitter, gotta match salaries on Haywood's 10 mill, and I can't imagine they just want to give away Mills for free, so taking his contract is essentially the value there. Could always move him to a 3rd team.

yea thats what i was getting at. im not sure the spurs would be a team to just dump someone. they seem to care more, would look to make sure a player would be treated fine.

maybe im looking into this too much but it does seem like something they'd care about.
