Carroll is expected to be our #1 target, followed by Danny Green.
If we whiff on them, Stan said there are a couple restricted FAs we will pursue. One is definitely Tobias, IDK about the other though.

The important part is that it's in LA.

Lebron and Love to Lakers confirmed.

draymond supposedly. hawks and rockets are going to go after him too.

carroll would be nice. would fit the whole play a vet until who we draft is 100% ready. i would think we would have enough to possibly sign him and danny green both, if they opted for us.

Well Stan wants to sign a big too though. I'd like to see us target Amir Johnson or Biyombo.
Don't think we really have a need for both Green and Carroll though. Don't wanna bury Stanley.

Amir probably not a realistic target though lol. Dude is coming off a 7 mill a year contract. Doubt he takes a paycut.

Evidently, Lebron's end-game goal here is to sign a 200+ million dollar deal during the 2017 offseason.

He'll be going on 33 years old at that point, and the Cavs are going to sign him to a 5 year, 200+ million dollar deal.  He'll be making 40 million per year throughout most of that contract, and he's already regressing.

I don't think he signs that. He'll want to keep his options open. He'll keep signing one-year + player option deals every offseason

you really think that? his thing for the past six years has been him wanting to be the richest athlete ever. that contract does that.

The NBA will still have a cap, so he probably won't be the highest paid athlete, but he definitely wants an absurd payday.

More I think about it more irritated I get with this Jrue thing. Philly is such a fucking shitty franchise.

Did the Pelicans not have Holiday take a physical beforehand?  I feel like that could be partially their fault...

Two weeks after the deal was initially agreed to, they couldn't touch him beforehand. Against league rules. On draft night the only resource they had was Phillys word, and they weren't honest about his injuries.

He can still be the richest athlete if he signs for a one year max every summer

injury risk signing for one year is really dumb though
