I think that'd be the smartest option... But regardless of the deal, I don't think we'll get enough lol

Forget Okafor, give me Winslow with the first pick.

Just look at the league now, this isn't the league of 15 years ago. This is a perimeter oriented game, the days of the big man are fading. Look at the top 6 MVP candidates, 5 of them are perimeter players. Take it further, I would say 20 of the leagues 30 teams are still in the hunt for the playoffs, and only Atlanta, Memphis, and New Orleans are clearly led by big men. Then there are probably six other teams that are somewhere in the middle.

So with that all said, yeah Okafor and Towns are good prospects, but I look at where the league is headed and I want the wing over the big, unless it is clear that the big is head and shoulders above the other prospects. I don't think that's the case though.

Your opinion makes sense for teams that aren't lacking real big men, but two of the head candidates for the first overall pick (NYK, Minnesota) don't have cemented players at either the 4 or 5. Minnesota might have one in Dieng, but Pek can't stay healthy and neither can Anthony Bennett, so far. New York's front court is a sitcom laugh track.

Well they have the first two picks for a reason, and like I said I would go for the franchise guard.

I actually think Kaminsky can have a solid NBA career

He has good post moves, and has the longer perimeter game, plus he holds his own defensively

He could be a very solid stretch 4/rotational big in the league. I'd love to grab him with our first pick in the draft

Lakers are going to win the lottery and Byron Scott is going to draft one of the Harrison twins on stage before anyone can stop him.

Patrick Ewing should be the representative, kind of like passing the torch to the next big man.

A representative for the hornets? Because he, you know, actually coaches for them.....
