Whoever gets Dom Easley as a redshirt pick is getting a huge steal.

Speaking of redshirt picks, look out in San Fran this year. Their getting Lattimore and Tank Carradine back. Scary shit.

I question if Lattimore will even be able to function

He's got a few more ACL tears left in him I'd say.

I will say this though, Bortles played great against Penn State. Some great throws.

Say what you will about the top end talent of this class of QB's, but man, it's a deep class.

IMO Bortles is pretty much as raw as Logan Thomas, with less arm talent.

Aaron Donald is overrated.

Keith McGill has so much upside.

Well I'm finally going to actually analyze all of Bortles tape. So far he hasn't passed the eye test of a 1st round QB, but hopefully he can change my mind.

Okay so I've been going wrong about trying to "rank" the QB's in this draft. Really, it should be based off what system you want to run. Most of these QB's can be very good in a certain system, but could really go bad if they are in the wrong one. None of these guys are very system versatile, and that really is going to affect how you rank/view these QB's. I don't think you can universally rank these guys fairly without having a system in mind.

On a side note, that's why I was so hard on Bortles before, he wasn't in an offense that helped showcase his talent, at all. And I was also wrong about his accuracy not being fixable. It is-- but it's very similar to Jake Locker's issues, and I'm still vary wary about that.

I think Bridgewater can fit in multiple systems.

In my opinion he won't fair too well if a team tries to push him into a vertical passing offense. He doesn't have the arm for it, his is arguably weaker than Manziel's, IMO. There's a lot of balls he has thrown to the outside that would have gotten picked in the NFL, and downfield he'll have issues fitting balls into tight windows. I love him in a west coast kind of system however. I kind of view him as a better version of Alex Smith. Not in love with the comparison though.

See, I don't see it that way with his arm strength. I haven't seen as much tape as you though, so I'll take your word for it.

I was pretty disappointed when Mariota decided to stay in school. He was my top guy, but I imagine he would have gone #1 anyway.

Mariota would have been #1 by far, man. Sucks for the Texans.

Bridgewater can get a little more zip on short throws than Manziel, but as soon as you start getting down the field it floats on him, even when he doesn't put too much air under it. I think he'll be fine throwing down the field if you have him out of the pocket on the move, as well as when he improvises giving his guys some space, because he does have great touch, but I think if you force him to sit in the pocket and throw it downfield in tight windows he won't get it there. That's just my opinion on him though.

Bortles definitely makes sense for the Texans, though. Still don't think he's worthy of the #1 pick, but if they trade down they won't get him, and there really isn't any fallback "almost Bortles" guys in this draft.

Back when Bridgewater committed to Miami, I was watching some of his high school tape and thought to myself, "This kid is Jacory 2.0."  Just about every throw he made was a duck, even on his highlight tapes.  I was going to make a joke about his noodle arm the other day, but didn't think anyone else would agree with me on his lack of arm strength... glad some of you are on the same page.

The touch on his passes are very impressive, but his arm strength is average at best.

I'm gonna be honest, it took me at least a week to realize you were you. Thought you went AWOL, didn't know you changed your name.
