Man, Wilder is BUILT.  I just don't think he has much of a future at RB.

Andre Williams is one of the worst pass catchers I've seen.

Wouldn't they take Watkins over Evans?  Whichever WR they take at 5, I feel bad for that guy.  It's going to be really hard to start producing at the level that is expected of them with such a disaster of a QB position.
I'm assuming he's gone.

If someone drafts Logan Thomas, they need to just move him to TE immediately... don't waste time by trying him at QB.  He has some serious potential as a tight end.
Ask yourself this: Is Blake Bortles that much more accurate at any point of the field than Thomas? I say not in any capacity that matters. They have similar positives, too. I'll give the mental game edge to Bortles. Obviously Bortles is more polished for the NFL at this point, but don't rule out Thomas yet.

On a side note, everything Mayock was saying about Bortles weaknesses is a Mettenberger strength, and he's better at Bortles' strengths too other than mobility. I just don't get what Mayock is thinking. His +'s for Bortles were size, arm, -'s inconsistent ball placement and bad deep ball. Mett is so much better at all of those things except size, but also has a better mental game, touch and he spins it better too. Jake, I'd really like your opinion on Mett compared to the other QB's because this is driving me crazy. I just don't see any major holes in Mett's game unlike the other QB's.

I mean Manziel gets praised for trusting Evans and throwing it to him when he's covered, but Mett gets criticized for doing the same thing with ODB and Landry? What?

The only thing I can think of is maybe his character issues are still present. IDK.

EDIT

I feel very strongly about this. Even more so than in 2011 when I had Kaepernick > Newton, Locker, Gabbert, etc. I just have that feeling.

Oh, and I can't believe Mayock likes McCarron. McCarron and Mettenberger came from very similar situations, but Mett is superior at everything. Just don't get it.

Beast. I hate the 40 though. Guys who are way faster than other guys on the field often time way slower than other guys all because of technique. It's a sham if you believe 40 times = speed at all. In terms of a few tenths of a second. Obviously 4.3 is much different than 5.1.

Thomas will never be a successful NFL quarterback.  I have never been more confident about anything in my life.  I can't speak to Bortles' potential because I haven't really seen him play, but I've seen Logan Thomas many times, and I have never come away impressed with anything he's ever done with his arm.

I was so confused by that pic cheato, because I thought you were referring to Belichick, until I saw Lombardi pointing at a Browns logo

I like McCarron more than most but if Met can come back @ 100% he is/was the better prospect.

Good article with similar view of Thomas as I have

Why do you hate Thomas so much? His repuation is far from what is should be.

Not sure I get how people say Manziel looked undraftable against Mizzou and LSU, but what about McCarron against Oklahoma? Was probably even worse.

So a middle-round projected prospect coming into the combine and performing like complete ass isn't unlikely to drop hard on draft boards and go undrafted.

If Michael Sam doesn't get drafted, is that a huge PR nightmare for the NFL?  I feel like if the 5th round starts and this guy isn't drafted, attention will escalate and escalate and escalate.
