Atlanta has been trying to get rid of Lou. I assume they can just decline Salmons team option now?

Wasn't Lucas a 1st rounder last year?
Yes, and Dallas just traded Larkin as well. Just another example of why draft picks are sexy and magical, but once those picks are actually used on players that pick loses it's magic and loses its worth.

Draft picks are like cars.  Once you buy it and drive it off of the lot, you just lost 8k via the cars value.

so supposedly we're still talking?
Re-read the article. Said the talks might resume since McLemore is available now.

Unless you are telling me they are still talking, which is great news haha.

I also read that earlier today about the Kings possibly making McLemore available in a Smith trade.  The person who gave this legs is someone named Joe Kaiser who is a fantasy sports writer for ESPN.  He has about 85% less Twitter followers than Matt Stafford's girlfriend.

Grain of salt.

If the Pistons get rid of Smith and bring a decent prospect back like McLemore, I will go to church every Sunday.

The only player I don't think I would trade for Josh Smith would be Gerald Wallace. Well and any other similar contracts.

Honestly I'd trade Smith for Gerald Wallace straight up.  I'm still in the same awful salary situation but I have a guy that I can DNP and tell to stfu rather than a guy who has to be played and costs my team opportunities to win games.  I'd literally trade Smith for any other player in the NBA.

Good move by Ujiri. Nice scorer of the bench and a potential shot blocking machine.
