Riley is going to reward Haslem with a longer deal for his past and continued loyalty.

If Wade comes back at a reasonable salary I want him back, if not I'll miss the hell outta him but in a league where there is a salary cap just can't afford to have him eating $20M of it.

Bosh probably isn't a max guy anymore either tbh

Re-tool around LeBron and let Wade and Bosh figure it out on their own.

Why wouldn't LeBron just leave in that case?

Because he likes the organization and where else would he have the open cap space freedom to pick and choose who he plays with?

Pair up with Melo, bring in Lowry, call Gasol and Gortat

And what happens if Melo doesn't want to go to Miami? Up a creek without a paddle basically

Because it offers him exactly what he wants

Free cap space for whoever he wants
A good coach
A desirable market
A good owner

If it were Dallas in this scenario that Miami is in, with almost no money tied down, it'd be a no brainer for him to go there. It's only a question of not being such because he's played in miami

Well..

The Cavs can realistically have 40 mill in cap space, and have the ammo to make a Kevin Love trade, and still have Kyrie Irving and potentially Wiggins still.

Yes, I know, Cleveland sucks, city is garbage, blah blah blah

I know LeBron isn't signing here, I'm just saying.

I don't think Spoelstra is a good coach

Also, the idea that LeBron would stay in Miami to play with Melo & Kyle Lowry without Bosh & Wade is so asinine.

God, we can just see a new big 3 in Miami (that still includes Bron, obviously) coming from a mile away.

This is gonna be so shitty.

FTR, I think he should go to Cleveland, because they'd go all in and get Love, in that case.

So you'd be fine with a new big 3 developing in Cleveland?

Better a small market where it'd never happen than one of the major markets that already has enough titles.

Miami has 3 total rings, and isn't a big basketball market

It's a populated city, but in terms of basketball markets it really isn't.
