Well I don't think most people equate bosox's posts with the truth in the first place

but either way I don't think you're doing a good job of getting your points across that way.

Apparently "the truth" isn't that Pelicans shouldn't be trying to go into win-now mode, but rather that they are going to buy out Eric Gordon for $20M, some team is actually going to give him a $10M/2y deal, AND they'll use a stretch provision so they get $23M in cap space...

This hypothetical bickering is fucking annoying. I don't give a fuck what their cap could potentially be in 2035

And to go further than that, I totally buy that people don't want to read it. But I find that to be really sad, considering that I wasn't just talking to myself, I was making a reply to something another poster said. But that's why this board is moving in the direction it is, people aren't interested in actual debates if it requires a little bit of reading on their part. They'd rather just have one sentence back and fourths that don't actually generate activity, troll each other, etc.

Don't read it then. Nobody is holding a gun to your head either. I see shit that I don't particularly enjoy seeing on this board everyday, but you rarely see me whining like a little bitch about it.

Its more so that you prolong your point with long, un-spaced paragraphs, and it makes the readers not want to go read it. aka "tl;dr". I do this sometimes myself as well, and get carried along with it.

sometimes you gotta present it the way Mexi does.

Simple statements, thats all.

multiple line breaks, couple of short sentences.

he gets his point across, quickly.

Why don't you just delete the posts like all the other shit you don't like. Fucking scrubs. You also overrate the shit out of the pelicans.

I never delete anything unless it's something that staff has decided should not be public on the forums. There has to be some sort of rules you know.

And I'm sorry I didn't envision the Pelicans suffering the second most injuries of any team in the league. My bad on that, shoulda saw it coming.

You overrate the talent on the roster not the season.

Ryan Anderson is arguably the most important player offensively for the Pelicans, I don't want to say he brings all the other pieces together because they were still a slightly above average team offensively without him offensively, but he certainly ups the level of play. I mean the evidence is right there in front of you, for everyone to see.

He's no more important than Danny Green

I don't even have words.  You can leave your opinion of the players at the door, to say Ryan Anderson has the same level of impact on the Pelicans as Danny Green does on the title winning Spurs is so outlandish and idiotic that I really do not know how to reply to it.  And that's not even me shitting on Danny Green, because I really like Danny Green, but whether you think Anderson or Green are just average or above average has zero impact on how much of a difference they make to their teams because of their respective different levels of success.

I can't decide who I want to troll harder here, but I think nola has a point. The Spurs can win games with Danny Green scoring 0. Didn't that happen last night?

Danny Green is a 3PT shooter like Anderson, but Green is actually a good defender, especially in transition. Anderson as a bigman does nothing better than any other average big really. His 3PT shooting is what makes him good, but Green is just as good

Like I said, you can leave your opinion of the players at the door.  Hell you can say Ryan Anderson is terrible and Danny Green is great.  I don't care.

There is no way in hell Danny Green is as important to the Spurs as Ryan Anderson is to the Pelicans because of the team he plays for.  That's just such a bosox statement.

Just because, the difference between Anderson being on the court and off:

Pelicans:
+0.091 points per possession
+1.6% field goal percentage
+0.10% drive percentage
+3.3% percentage at the rim
-1.0 turnovers per 100 possessions
+3.5 assists per 100 possessions
+1.5% rebound percentage

Opponent:
+0.029 points per possession
+0.5% field goal percentage
+1.0% percentage at the rim
