Calderon? Wow lol. He had no role with us last year. Bringing him back would be so stupid, and just makes not drafting Burke even worst. What are we gonna roll out Calderon and Knight again? And delegate KCP to the bench, and probably behind Stuckeys garbage ass.
nah, smoove was with dumars and co for 5 hours haha.

Oh. Well my Calderon statement still stands. Should not bring him back. Unless its a cheap, BACKUP deal. Dumars has faith in Knight, so let the guy fucking play the point.

If he brings back Calderon to start, not drafting Burke is already a huge failure to him.

You don't have to draft Burke because you lack a real PG. He probably just had Pope higher on his board, like me.

The whole reason he said he didn't draft Burke is because he said we had a bigger need at the wing. But signing Calderon to start for us shows we have a huge hole at PG too, seeing as he has no faith in Knight.

pope is the better prospect. i still want to see knight as our point, though. i dont really want jose back but if we actually add talent to the roster then bringing jose back on a short deal wouldnt bother me.

i want to see knight and kcp start from day 1 together, but if we brought in a guy like kmart i wouldnt mind bringing kcp along slowly.

Knight should be starting at PG day one, period.

The Dallas Mavericks were one of several teams to contact the agent for Andrew Bynum during the opening hours of free agency.

Bynum is expected to be healthy for the start of training camp, but any team that signs him will want to do their own thorough medical evaluation. Bynum missed the entire 12-13 NBA season following a trade to the Philadelphia 76ers.

I'm going to be so pissed if he brings Calderon back.

The Portland Trail Blazers are expected to pursue Tiago Splitter in free agency, while the Utah Jazz and Atlanta Hawks also have salary cap space.

Splitter could have a baseline offersheet similar to the three-year, $25 million deal signed by Omer Asik with the Houston Rockets last offseason.

The San Antonio Spurs are expected to be in a position to match an offer sheet Splitter signs with a rival team.

i only like the idea of him coming back if its on a short deal and hes not the starter. but then whats the point, because he can start elsewhere and cheeks can be the coach knight needs, no need for jose.

i only think dumars is looking to bring him back to maybe lure in other fa's or because hes doing it to make the tayshaun trade not look even worse on our part.

I mean, trading for his expiring was all I wanted to begin with.
He's an awful fit on this team.

For a team who should be focusing on getting the ball to bigs, he seems like a better fit than Knight.

But I am on your train of thought of not wanting Calderon back. Makes little sense considering his age.

The Los Angeles Lakers have reached out to Byron Mullens.
The Lakers only have the mini-mid level exception worth $3.2 million, or veteran minimum contracts to offer free agents.
Mullens has been with the Charlotte Bobcats over the past two seasons.

He sounds like he would've been, but he was very ineffective with us last year. Did no better than Knight at all.

C.J. Watson is close to a two-year deal with the Indiana Pacers, according to a source.
Watson spent last season with the Brooklyn Nets after two seasons with the Chicago Bulls.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have begun to aggressively pursue Dorell Wright, according to sources.
The Thunder are working to remain below the luxury tax threshold.
Kevin Martin is unlikely to return to the Thunder.
