Don't be surprised if the Cavaliers come away with a rotation player in Thursday's NBA draft. It probably won't happen if they stay at their current picks -- 30th and 46th -- but with teams hurting for money and the Cavs flush with cash from a strong playoff run and LeBron-mania, it puts them in superb position to add some money to that 30th pick and move up. It's a draft with a glut of point guards, and the Cavs could use one. There also are some intriguing wing players. Which brings us to Sam Young, the 6-6, 210-pound small forward from Pittsburgh.

DeAndre is gonna be pretty good.

who else thinks Thabeet has bust written all over him?
I can't believe he's gonna be a top 5 pick. amazing. he's a 2nd round talent, maybe late 1st IMO
I've been saying that Thabeet will be a bust.

BTW to the disappointment of Piston fans, Clark will be gone by their pick.

Well where do you think he will go?
Lot of mocks have him landing here.

Most likely here unless we go with a SG.

I think the Grizzlies, Wizards and Warriors will trade their picks, I hope we can get the #5 for Hughes.

I would love to end up drafting Hill and a PG (preferably BJ)

Why would the Wizards trade the #5 pick for Larry Hughes? That's worse then the Lakers - Grizzlies trade.

It was a rumor on realgm. They tried to get him from Chicago last year. They Also like Jared Jeffries

So because they like him means they're giving a top 5 pick? lol that won't happen.

I didnt write it, I just read it.

There have been bonehead trades made before, so this wouldnt be anything new.

Yea it would be new.. You don't trade the #5 pick in the NBA draft for an aging often injured SG who will get you maybe 12 points per game with now overrated defense.

There is nothing new about bad trades.

Ive heard the Wizards arent "in love" with anyone that could be available at 5, they're looking for veteran talent to become a playoff team once again, and Hughes could be a part of that, he did well in Washington before.

I hope the trade goes down

There is no way it happens, you need to be realistic.

You know the vendetta you have against the Knicks for possibly signing LeBron is old, any move thats rumored to improve us you seem to always have some problem with it.

I dont say anything about the Cavs trading a washed up Big Ben and Pavlovic for Shaq when those fell through.. both times

Just drop it, I know its a long shot, but whats wrong with saying I hope it happens?

How is it because of a vendetta? I'd like you to find any one person who is intelligent and not a Knick fan who thinks there is any chance of an injury prone 12 ppg scorer going for a top 5 pick..

The Cavs Suns trade is actually realistic since the Suns want salary cap relief. The Wizards may want "veteran help" but for the #5 pick they could double Hughes' talent.

I dont need to find anyone to justify the fact I hope the damn deal goes down.

Salary CAP or not the Suns have said Shaq isnt going for nothing and Big Ben and Pavlovic are basically nothing.
