I can't believe firing Hurdle has had such an impact on these Rockies, he was such a big factor in 07 Rocktober

I feel that the changing of a manager is a bit overrated. Players are paid to play, I dont think a different voice is going to make such a significant impact in MLB. I feel that it does change if we consider the NFL.

How about dem Dodgers! lol, the NL West just got a bit more interesting. I still think Dodgers hold on though.

They don't do better because of the new manager being better or anything like that. they saw their manager got fired, they realize they weren't performing well and their jobs were on the line for next season and the rest of this current season so they stepped it up.

Indians are the only team in the AL Central over .500 since the all-star break lol. LaPorta 2-4 today with a homer and a double.

great outing from Wakefield spoiled by Ramon Ramirez giving up a homer to tie the game...to Scott Podsednik no less

Tied at 2 going into the bottom of the 9th.
