lol I'd like to see Sowers 5th inning era, he always looks like an ace through 4 innings, then just completely implodes in the 5th-6th inning.

The Royals are 47-77 after today's debacle, which puts them on pace to lose exactly 100 games this season. Less famously but perhaps more tellingly, if the Royals lose 100 games, they will tie an American League record for the most losses by a single franchise over the span of an intact decade.

The Royals have lost 927 games and counting during the 2000s. They have blown past the Pirates (903 losses) and the Rays (901) as the losingest franchise of the decade. In the history of baseball, only six teams have lost more than 927 games in a decade, and the Royals are almost certain to pass at least three of them by the end of the year

lol did anyone see the Rockies?

down 4-1 in 14th
cut it to 4-2, then hit a walkoff GS

unbelievable.

Dodgers lead NL West by 3 games with a 3 game series @ Coors tonight.

before everyone goes all doomsday, the Dodgers own the damn Rockies and are not coughing up the division. I swear the offense can't get any worse and being at Coors is sure to wake up the bats

That's sounds exactly like what Roidsux fans said about the Yankees before that four game series at the stadium, and we all know how that worked out.

the Rox are actually making the Dodgers work for 1st place, I highly doubt Colorado will pass them but still

this is clearly another Rocktober in the making :p

yeah it does
the difference is we're still in 1st place.
Sox were in 2nd at the time

Rockies arent sending their best pitchers, we are.
Yanks/Sox series was even with pitching. both sent their best 4 that they had

Struck out the side, 10 through 5, really hope he doesn't get 20 lol, that would be embarrassing.

At least Masterson is settling down, really struggled to find the strike zone early, not one of his better outings.
