Thats why I think they have to pitch deep into games and limit the effect the bullpen can have on the game.
It's a tough decision because the Yankees don't want to wear out Joba too early in his career and we all know that CC is an absolute horse, but Milwaukee milked him for almost all he was worth when they had him.

Joba is more valuable as a setup man and eventually as a closer than a starter. He can affect the outcome of 80 games as opposed to 30 starts which he will have as a SP. And at the same time you limit him and sustain his durability.

Just about every Yankee fan I know would much prefer if Joba was in the pen, hopefully Hughes can build on tonight (8 K's so far in 4.2 innings) and once Wang comes back his sinker will be more effective like it was in the past.

EDIT: Damn, as soon as I post it Hughes gives up a solo HR

5-3 Yankees

Sigh, Fausto is sooo wild. Walked the first two batters, but he came back to get his normal double play ball and then struck out Jacobs.

Why doesn't our offense ever show up on games we should win?

Wilkin Ramirez hits out his first career HR in his major league debut today.
He is our best position prospect, so the future looks bright.

Inge hits out his 11th homer this year as I type this. 3-1 Tigers bottom of the 6th.
Kind of funny, Inge only hit 11 homers last year. His new batting stance has improved his game SO much.

That will be all over SC tomorrow, or even tonight.
