FPS, I watched the PawSox play the Bisons today...Fernando Martinez hit two freakin homeruns. Why the hell is Sheff still on the team?

Sheff is playing pretty good actually. Yea I heard F-mart hit against Bucholz. Hes still very young, at 20 years old hes our best prospect and still needs a little more grooming there in AAA.

Now that I mention Sheffield, hes up to bat. Hope Hudson is ok......

yeah, they were really the only blemishes on Clay today. He threw a ton of pitches though. Martinez's shots were rockets though. The second one was a liner that smacked into the wall [that serves as the hitters eye] in center field.

Yea hes pretty good. Has some health issues recently, hopefully he can get through that. The mets have a propensity to rush their prospects, but fortunately Martinez hasnt been one of them. I mean seriously, hes still a kid @ 20 years old. So Pawtucket is Red Sox AAA affiliate?

Sounds like a lot of fun. Yea I live in Daytona right now and I went last year to Port St. Lucie which is 2 hours away. Its the spring training facility for the mets and Advanced A baseball. I got to see everyone there. I saw Santana, Wright, Wagner, and some good prospects.

Minor league baseball is soooo much fun, they give out so much free stuff, lol. And its sooo cheap and you dont have to worry about good seats. The mets have their Short A team in Brooklyn where my gf lives and we've been there. The ballpark is right next to the beach and its just kind of funny going there the 1st time and seeing the beach sooo close, lol.

Heres a pic:

I've seen a couple guys come through here. I've seen Jacoby, Papelbon, Lowell (rehab), Youkie (rehab and minor league stint), Javier Lopez, Manny Delcarmen, and idk if I've seen Pedroia, I don't really remember lol.

Tigers win again, a 1-hit shutout 4-0.

Willis was outstanding tonight. Retired 17 straight batters, and had 5 k`s. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Twins lost to the White Sox, and Indians lost to the Royals. So, at the moment, the Royals and Tigers are starting to pull away from the rest of the AL Central. Hopefully we can keep it up.

Wow it looks rlly big. Red Sox working like a factory out there with those prospects. Even Hanley... now that would be scary.

there's tons of foul territory too...

don't get me started on Hanley; I'm pissed I never got to see him play.
