I still believe the Lakers are the team to beat. We all know it, however they have shown they are vulnerable this season. But it's still early, and with Phil and Kobe you know they'll be ready for the playoffs. The Mavs are second best, more depth, and we have the length to match up against...

Plus Melo I think would have a hard time realizing it's Dirk's team. His ego is pretty huge. We've won 16 of 17 and are 23-5, we don't need to mess it up. I think it's the fact that this is the best team Dallas has ever had possibly, and we want to make sure it doesn't end in another collapse...

From what I heard, we have a small percentage of getting him. The deal would probably be for us, Caron and Stevenson and Roddy B and a few picks. But they already got Ty Lawson as the PG of the future so.. I don't really want him, his ego might ruin what we have going, we've never had this good...

I actually agree with you 100%. Lakers are still team to beat. I will say however, this is the best playoff-built team we've probably ever had. Plus this is our last chance with this nucleus in reality, so who knows.
