This team never fails to amaze me.
Without Dirk for 3 quarters, Without Carlisle all game, and on the road. Mavs win against the Thunder
24-5, 11-1 on the road
Mavs are going to lose tonight.
56 all at half.
But Dirk's return is doubtful, he rolled his ankle early, has a sore right ankle.
Carlisle also isn't coaching tonight. So eh, 2nd half could get ugly
lol are you calling Greinke overrated? How can a player who plays for the Royals be overrated?
I'm sure Greinke and King Felix are in the same category
I still believe the Lakers are the team to beat. We all know it, however they have shown they are vulnerable this season. But it's still early, and with Phil and Kobe you know they'll be ready for the playoffs.
The Mavs are second best, more depth, and we have the length to match up against...
Plus Melo I think would have a hard time realizing it's Dirk's team. His ego is pretty huge.
We've won 16 of 17 and are 23-5, we don't need to mess it up. I think it's the fact that this is the best team Dallas has ever had possibly, and we want to make sure it doesn't end in another collapse...
From what I heard, we have a small percentage of getting him. The deal would probably be for us, Caron and Stevenson and Roddy B and a few picks. But they already got Ty Lawson as the PG of the future so..
I don't really want him, his ego might ruin what we have going, we've never had this good...
I don't see the point in keeping him...not like we're gonnna need a closer this year. The Royals have had some bad years, but this upcoming one will by far be the worst.
Look at our pitching staff.
The Bucks are weird.
In the last week:
Ended the Mavs 12 game winning streak in Dallas
Lost to San Antonio on a Manu buzzer beater in San Antonio
Beat the Lakers by 19 without Brandon Jennings
I actually agree with you 100%. Lakers are still team to beat.
I will say however, this is the best playoff-built team we've probably ever had. Plus this is our last chance with this nucleus in reality, so who knows.
Dirk had his worst game of the year, still passed Larry Bird for 25th all time in NBA history in scoring.
And the Spurs annoy me too, luck has just been on their side. Even Charles agrees Dallas is the best team in Texas
