I think you're mistaking the Pats for the Jets man.
kam isn't a Pats fan and I honestly can't remember the last time New England went after and signed a "big" free agent (guys like Fred Taylor, to me, don't count in that category).
I can't stand them but think of it this way: they keep talking all this shit and if they lose, no worries, they weren't expected to win. But if they win then, they look great and, they can talk even more shit because of all the doubters, haters, etc.
It's no secret the teams hate each other...
Problem is, though, that you're not going to ship out underachievers like Phaneuf or Komisarek unless there is some quality coming back. I think TO would probably include some like Versteeg or MacArthur in a package with an underachiever.
I'd love to see the Bruins go after a guy like Michalek...
That was before the 2 minute drill they put on Fleury. Still, it took way to long for them to respond in this game. I'm happy they came back and won but, at the same time, I still don't feel incredible about it.
I think 36 is generally considered out of your prime, or in the tail end at the very least, years. Not to say that Jeter won't be solid or even better than last year, just that expecting an MVP type season is reaching and even unfair to Jeter (never thought you'd hear me say that, huh lol).
SOFT hooking call on Recchi and then he gets an unsportsmanlike for arguing...with two minutes left in the 2nd and Pittsburgh up 2 goals, that's a fucking crock.
This team (Boston) can blow me though. Every shot right into Fleury's pads. Fuck you all.
Finally, Cookie needs to go away
Just to clear it up, I'm not not the one who neg repped you (nor am I accusing you of calling me out).
And, obviously, there are some key guys still around (Welker, Brady, o-line, some others) but this is definitely a different looking team than that one. No Moss and a new offense. Totally...
