Rags wasting no time trying to replace Frolov's production in the lineup. The Phoenix Coyotes have traded forward Wojtek Wolski to the New York Rangers for defenceman Michal Rozsival.
COYOTES TRADE WOLSKI TO RANGERS FOR ROZSIVAL
Rozsival has three goals and 12 assists in 32 games so far this season for the Rangers.
Wolski has registered six goals and 10 assists in 36 games on the season for the Coyotes.
Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney has previous experience with Rozsival and is pleased to add him to his roster.
"I know Michal well from my time with the Rangers in New York," said Maloney. "He is an intelligent, puck moving defenseman who can play heavy minutes against good players. He will make our strong defense even better."
Wolski was originally selected as the Colorado Avalanche's first round pick, 21st overall, of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
Rozsival was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the fourth round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft.
