    Derrick Rose Leaves the Cavs

Such a sad story. He has more money than his next 5 generations could possibly spend. Just be smart with your money and retire if that's what your heart desires. The Adidas deal is almost worth holding on. It's more than any NBA team would pay him at this point, he's only 29 years old.

    2017-2018 Offseason Thread

Fair point, I was referring to his velocity. Not that I expect anything other than his CY Young season to be a decline.   I don't care about the Brewers, I think last year was a flash in the pan. They aren't much of a threat and them signing Arrieta would destroy them at the back end. They don't...

    MLB Hammer Drops on Braves

Sounds like they were paying the players under the table so they would sign for a lower pool amount. Since they were limited to just $300k per player

I don't think it's the money the Cubs are worried about with Arrieta, it's the decline he's had over the past couple of seasons.  I think Darvish will age way better. Also, I know the Otani deal is a huge shot in the dark, it's extremely unlikely but a man can dream.

I hope the Cubs sign Darvish. Should be a good arm for 5 more years, their window should be open 3 more as it currently stands. Also could help them net Otani. I would rather sign Darvish than Arrieta assuming the contracts are the same. I think Darvish will age better, and Arrieta has already...

The league is so wide open this year, I love it. Vikings winning it in Minnesota would make for a hell of a story, Rams too.

    Packers Cut Martellus Bennett

Bennett told GB he needed season ending shoulder surgery despite the team Dr telling him he was fine. Now he goes back to NE and he's all healed? Something is super fishy here

    Aaron Rodgers suffers broken collarbone

Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy are the two most overrated coaches/GMs in sports. They should not have jobs, they've been riding Rodgers coatails for years

    Aaron Rodgers suffers broken collarbone

The organization is incredibly overrated. The coaching staff is shit and the front office isn't much better. Rodgers is the best to play the position, they are wasting an all-time great because they are clueless. The Packers have flailed out of the playoffs like 5 years in a row due to complete...

Confirmed: Roy Halladay Dies in Plane Crash in Gulf of Mexico

What a pleasure it was to watch this guy growing up. So tragic. 40 is way too young to go, especially when he recently retired and had the rest of his life to live. No doubt HOF player, and I bet Toronto and Philly both retire his number this upcoming season.   Feel awful for his family. RIP Doc

    Aaron Rodgers suffers broken collarbone

Hundley is Rodgers understudy because when you have Aaron Rodgers nobody cares who the backup is. Hundley wasn't all that impressive in college, the same things he struggled with then he struggles with now but at a much larger level. It's quite embarrassing as an organization to be this much of...

    Aaron Rodgers suffers broken collarbone

Is this less embarrassing than signing Kaep?   Because the Packers are a joke, Hundley is trash

    2017-2018 Offseason Thread

Going to be a very fun and active offseason. Cubs need to add another SP and fix the pen. Probably gonna trade a few players off the major league roster.    Stanton getting traded gonna be a fun story to watch, that has the Yankees written all over it. Josh Donaldson and a bunch of young SP also...

NFL is getting rocked with injuries this year And of course Houston wasn't gonna sign Kaep, their owner called his players inmates days ago.

Last year the bar I was at in Florida gave out a bottle of champagne to each Cubs fan, there was about 80. We trashed the bar. Smart of them to wrap the locker rooms   Houston is the 4th biggest city in the US, that was a Big City World Series.
