I think he'd excel on a team like the Heat actually. Doesn't need to score because he plays more of a distributional role and the Heat have 3 scorers to go to but like mexi said, he can score when he needs to. He has a shot and he's not bad at driving either. And maybe it doesn't matter so much but he's one of the best in the league with free throw %. Only reason I think Calderon off the bench may be good is because it worked alright when TJ Ford was a Raptor.
I think Mario Chalmers is the perfect fit for the heat. A 1 who can plan defense, make open threes, and defer to Wade and James

Offensively, you really can't argue that Calderon also wouldn't fit in that system though. Jose has a very good A/T ratio, and is top 5 in the NBA with APG. I'm not saying Chalmers doesn't work for the Heat (they won an NBA championship), I'm just contemplating that Jose could be better or just as good.

Chalmers is perfect for the Heat because he's not a traditional PG. He doesn't try and run the offense and doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective. We don't need a ball dominant PG with Bron and Wade on the team, that's their job.

Wait. Did you mean 800k a year, or 80k a month?
800k a month would mean he makes like 9.6 million a year. And well, he doesn't make that much lol.

80k a month is still more than enough money to spend per month so he cannot complain.

If you're making 80 grand a year you're doing good, spending that in a month is hardly being money conscious.

even so, thats still plenty. its not like im saying that because of our state either. we have the third highest gas prices and the biggest oil refinery in the mid-west. high gas prices make everything else higher.

if you can't live off of $80k then you need a new Outlook on life.

A lot of families all together don't even make 80k a year, smh. I'd love to live on 80k a month for life. Even a year is alright with me. That's good liveable money.
