Pretty sure he meant he only spends 800 dollars a month.

80K a month would be the exact opposite of the point he's trying to make.

Wait. Did you mean 800k a year, or 80k a month?
800k a month would mean he makes like 9.6 million a year. And well, he doesn't make that much lol.
$800
LMAO my bad guys

800 bucks a month

his dad is Mychal Thompson. former NBA player
he said he wants him to live like his peers who just left college like he did

Not every player goes bankrupt lol

You don't have to limit yourself to that small amount of money, compared to what he's making, to properly manage your money either

The Brooklyn Nets will be featured in NBA TV and NBA.com’s fourth season of “The Association.”

The first episode of the behind-the-scenes series will debut on Oct. 16 at 10 p.m. ET.

“I think it’s great that the NBA will be documenting our inaugural season in Brooklyn as part of The Association,” point guard Deron Williams said in a statement.

“As we make history bringing a professional sports team to Brooklyn, fans will get to have an inside look. Our new home, the borough of Brooklyn, will provide a great backdrop for the series, and I think people are going to be pretty excited with their exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the new arena.”

“The Brooklyn Nets are honored to be selected by the NBA as the featured team in this year’s installment of The Association,” GM Billy King said. “We are very excited about our first season playing in Brooklyn at Barclays Center, and this series will document superbly this historic move for the Nets’ franchise.”

This is the fourth straight season that the "The Association" has followed a team. Previously it spotlighted the Los Angeles Lakers (2009-10), Boston Celtics (2010-11) and Denver Nuggets (2011-12).
I'll watch

The Denver one was really cool. It made me like that franchise.

I'll hopefully catch the Nets one, although I'm not sure I'll end up liking them more afterwards.

Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul, who is featured on the covers of October's GQ, told the magazine he actually preferred being traded to the Clippers rather than the Los Angeles Lakers last year.

"They had the better pieces," Paul said. "And winning with the Clippers would be legendary."

Last year NBA commissioner David Stern nixed a trade that would have sent Paul from the then league-owned New Orleans Hornets to the Lakers in a package that would have included Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom. A week later he was traded to the Clippers instead.

Paul also said he was still irritated about being patted on the head by Gasol when the Lakers played the Clippers last season, causing the two to be separated in the waning seconds of the game.

"We call that sonnin'," Paul said. "Like when I take Li'l Chris to the bathroom, I'll walk with my hand on his head. That's my son. You know what I mean? I understand that Gasol is that tall, but don't do to me what I do to my son."

The Clippers' training camp begins Oct. 1. The Clippers will play the Lakers in a preseason game Oct. 24 and their first regular-season game will be Nov. 2.

You should, it's an excellent show.

and CP3 is lieing out of his ass, the Lakers were easily over the Clippers on his list.

I'm not so sure. He is the main guy on the Clippers. Blake is younger with higher potential than Pau/Bynum. (Obviously, I'm assuming Dwight deal didn't go down yet)

CP3 is a leader, but with the Lakers he would have had a backseat to Kobe imo.

the whole ego thing would have the clippers iver the lakers but the lakers have such a better history and his pride would play well with that.
