It's pretty funny coming from another guy who is labeled as having a questionable motor and work ethic.
That's one of the funnier things about it..But it says volumes about Drummond. It's pretty funny coming from another guy who is labeled as having a questionable motor and work ethic.
I'm saying if Eric Gordon gets past the injury bug I don't think Beal will be as good as him, maybe close, but I think Gordon will go down as the better player once their careers are over. What's wrong with that? Hell, when did I go out of my way in the post that started this to even mention Eric Gordon? Does mentioning Eric Gordon when he's a comparison for Bradley Beal make me a homer somehow? Are you insinuating that Eric Gordon is the second coming? Because that's who I compared him to.
I'm not even one of the people driving this homer train that has been thrown at you for some reason, I'm just saying you are underrating Beal. They have similar body types, both are pretty good athletes, very good shooters, can get to the rim and finish.I'm saying if Eric Gordon gets past the injury bug I don't think Beal will be as good as him, maybe close, but I think Gordon will go down as the better player once their careers are over. I think MKG will be a better SF than Al-Farouq Aminu? And that Damian Lillard and Kendall Marshall will be better than Jarrett Jack and Greivis Vasquez? Or that if Austin Rivers is drafted at 10 to the Hornets and Jeremy Lamb is drafted at 13 to the Suns, that I think Lamb will be the better player? What then?
Maybe I just have an opinion, ever thought of that one?
most of your players can do no wrong. at least thats how most of your posts about them sound. What exactly have I been a homer about today specifically though?
Because I don't agree that Bradley Beal is the second coming?
My exact words:I'm not even one of the people driving this homer train that has been thrown at you for some reason, I'm just saying you are underrating Beal. They have similar body types, both are pretty good athletes, very good shooters, can get to the rim and finish.
Beal could be worse, but that doesn't mean a comparison is invalid.
Don't think I can underrate someone when I say I think they'll will be a very good player. So I mean, I like Beal, I think he will be a very good player, but I think some of the hype or comparisons are kind of getting out of hand. He isn't the next Ray Allen, he isn't Eric Gordon, etc. To answer your question though, I think he's worth a top 3 pick because he's a good blend of ready to contribute now and a high ceiling. He's not really a risk I guess.
Nah, reading comprehension just isn't anyone's strong suit (including mine, admittedly).most of your players can do no wrong. at least thats how most of your posts about them sound.
its not even about just certain players. you love throwing the injury card about most "stars" who have had bad injuries but with eg you hardly mention it(i know you just did but other than that i cant remember you saying it).Nah, reading comprehension just isn't anyone's strong suit (including mine, admittedly).
I just like some Hornets more than others. I just happen to think if Eric Gordon ever stays healthy, he'll be one of the best SG's the league has to offer as Kobe and DWade age (who you thought would be the 5th best SG this year, even ahead of Manu, might I add). Chris Kaman, Jarrett Jack, Xavier Henry, Trevor Ariza, Marco Belinelli, Emeka Okafor. Not really a fan of any of those guys. I go against in the norm in thinking that Carl Landry is better than Gustavo Ayon.
From what I saw in a very limited sample, they aren't as similar as people want to believe. You made it seem like a comparison to Gordon is outlandish, and all I'm saying is, it's not. They're pretty similar. Gordon got to the line more in College, but he was Indiana's primary ball handler.
