Depends where you play Jones. He clearly was not meant to be a C, like Baylor tried to do with him. I think his skillset would transfer nicely to the SF spot.
He played a little of all 3 frontcourt positions at Baylor. Tbh PF fit him best, his offensive skill-set is good but he'll need to work on his attacking off the dribble and get some more go-to moves to play the 3 at an elite level. Just from watching Baylor as much as I did this season I can tell you Quincy Miller is a better SF right now than Perry is. Perry just has the frame to dominate at the 3 (Quincy does too tbh) but I think in Detroit he'd be a awkward fit. Because you guys already have ball dominant players and Perry can disappear on defense at times (which is the last thing ya'll need right now imo).Depends where you play Jones. need to research lolSam Amico: Lakers are trying to get into first round — and word is, they like the Baylor guys (Miller and Perry Jones III).
Question: Who are Lakers likely dancing partners for a trade?
Sam Amico: Houston and Boston. Each has two mid-to-late first rounders. Also possibly the Hawks at No. 23.
yeah"if they're good, i'll hear about them sooner or later"
i might pay more attention this coming college seasonif you paid attention more youd have an easier time seeing who could bust or not.
FIRST ROUNDER FOR SESSIONS!lakers suck. im shocked they're exploring moving into the 1st round. they trade the damn picks every year
