Depends where you play Jones. He clearly was not meant to be a C, like Baylor tried to do with him. I think his skillset would transfer nicely to the SF spot.

He played a little of all 3 frontcourt positions at Baylor. Tbh PF fit him best, his offensive skill-set is good but he'll need to work on his attacking off the dribble and get some more go-to moves to play the 3 at an elite level. Just from watching Baylor as much as I did this season I can tell you Quincy Miller is a better SF right now than Perry is. Perry just has the frame to dominate at the 3 (Quincy does too tbh) but I think in Detroit he'd be a awkward fit. Because you guys already have ball dominant players and Perry can disappear on defense at times (which is the last thing ya'll need right now imo).

Yeah, I think Perry will struggle to play the three in the league, atleast for a while.

Well he certainly has to learn to play it full time, if a team were to put him there full time. Hence why he'd be a bit of a project.

Sam Amico: Lakers are trying to get into first round — and word is, they like the Baylor guys (Miller and Perry Jones III).

Question: Who are Lakers likely dancing partners for a trade?
Sam Amico: Houston and Boston. Each has two mid-to-late first rounders. Also possibly the Hawks at No. 23.
need to research lol
i have no idea who these guys are. i've at least heard the name Perry Jones though

i dont pay attention to the draft because the lakers dont do drafts. havent had a pick that mattered since 2006

and my philosophy is i dont care who these guys are in college. idk who will bust.
if you're good in the NBA, i'll know you. like Paul George or Kawhi Leonard. I didnt know who they were before teh draft, but now they're 2 of my fav guys

meanwhile, guys like Marcus Williams and Tyrus Thomas can go bust

if you paid attention more youd have an easier time seeing who could bust or not.

Who is the most likely choice for Golden State, if the Big 6 are gone?

Is it still Sully? Or is it Lamb, Waiters, or someone else?
