One source said that the way this has played out and with the adamant stance from Howard’s camp that he’ll shop his situation in July has all but killed the trade offers the Magic are getting. That is likely why Magic ownership is standing the line on keeping Howard because there simply isn’t much out there worth doing, according to sources.

If you are a Magic fan and you’re dreaming of a MarShon Brooks deal with tons of draft picks, that day has passed. Sources say the best offer from the Nets involved the ending contract of Mehmet Okur and Jordan Farmar and a conditional draft pick.

It seems clear the Nets know they can get Howard in July, why give away all of their assets for him now?

The Magic would be willing to trade Dwight Howard to Chicago in exchange for Omer Asik, Luol Deng, Carlos Boozer and a valuable first-round pick from Charlotte, according to a report.

Chicago will not move forward with the trade scenario without assurances that Howard will sign a long-term deal with the Bulls, which he’s given no indication he’ll do.

Dwight Howard is a clown, he can go shove it for all I care.

Dwight Howard will have interest in joining the Clippers and Heat, according to two sources.

Howard, who reportedly prefers to enter free agency, would need to go to those teams via trade due to cap issues.

idk why he wouldn't want to go to okc or chicago. if those reports are true he'd be on a super stacked team.

If it's true I find it fairly obvious he's chasing something other than a ring.

He's not chasing multiple rings if he goes to Jersey over teams like OKC and Chicago...

Now he WOULD be chasing multiple rings if he went to OKC or Chicago.

One more time....

If it’s true Dwight’s ($400 mill) shoe deal in Brooklyn is larger than DRose’s, plus Russian billionaire promi$e$, can’t blame D12 for move
He won't get anything near that in insignificant OKC.

Dwight clearly does. Hence, the Nets being his preferred choice.
Which should be troubling for you. Dwight isn't in it to win it. Jersey (or Brooklyn) wouldn't be contenders even if Dwight walks there in FA, let alone if they trade for him.

Chicago or OKC are EASILY better options for him if he wants to win. But I guess he has money on his mind.

OKC should try to do the Harden/Ibaka trade without a "guarantee." I mean I have to believe that Westbrook and Durant will be able to talk him in to staying.

Also Dwight needs to open his stupid mouth and say I'll go to the Bulls.

But I guess he is looking for a team to be "the guy" on and not winning championships. Which is stupid, because he already is "the guy" on his team.

That would be absolutely retarded to do that trade without the guarantee. So we just throw out our future just for this season with the possiblity of him leaving...

You really think he'd leave that? If he did he'd be hated more than LeBron.

Not to mention Durant and Westbrook would want to kill him.

I'd do it. Once they win the championship this season (or get very close) it should open his eye's a lot.

Once again you don't trade away your future just for one season and players like Howard probably wouldn't give a shit if he left even if it was durant and westbrook. He wants a big city/market so he can make even more money with advertisements and shit. And at OKC he can't get that like he can in Brooklyn

If thats the reason he won't stay in OKC, then he is an idiot.

If OKC made the trade without the guarantee I think Dwight would resign. But it's too risky.
