I don't know how the Boras does it. However, 9 years for someone who's that fat isn't a good idea.

The Mets were big free agency spenders this year. They got: Andres Torres, Frank Francisco, Ramon Ramirez, and Jon Rauch.

With those moves alone, it puts the team in contention in the NL East.

Contention for last place.....

It will be interesting to see who the 2nd 1B to make the ASG will be

Gonzo, Prince, and Teix are all very good candidates.

Miggy will win the 3B vote if he is indeed a 3B. If not, its Longo/Youk/ARod

so you're telling me James Loney has a shot at being an all-star next year

lol

but i will say this, he changed his stance the last 2 months last year, and he was a completely new hitter. this was different that his other streaks. he had some good power for a change. he has serious incentive to play well because he'll be the best 1st baseman FA next year.

They were a lot smarter last night. The Royals guy was pretty good but the Blue Jays guy was dumb.

Yeah. I was shocked that neither said Pettitte or Maddux on the World Series thing.

They always seem to leave out an obvious one or two and try and get the not as well known guys.

Yeah like not naming La Russa.

And they said Erstad instead of Hunter for the most recent Angels OF Gold Glove.
