The Tigers seemingly are in the race for any pitcher that goes on the market, then they tell every team they aren't willing to give up their valuable prospects and the talks end.

It's quite annoying lol.

Standing pat is the exact opposite of what we should be doing.

Damn its taking a long time for Prince to resign, the market has been set and there arent that many teams in the running for him anyways. I would go to the Rangers if I were Prince, dude would be a monster in the middle of that lineup. Mariners and Nationals are also possibilities.

Prince is waiting for the Dodgers ownership to settle. bids are due January 23 for the team(they just moved the date back today. it was originally the 15th)

at least i can hope >.<

it's funny how long it's taking though. no one wants to give him what he's asking for lol

The Yankees initially tried to acquire Felix Hernandez from the Mariners, reports Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com (via Twitter) and were willing to offer a package that included Montero, Betances, Banuelos and more
Am I the only one who doesn't see how you can turn that down?

Been some news that Matsui or Damon could return to NY as a DH.

Want nothing to do with Matsui but I would love Damon to come back.

He's still a good, smart baserunner and had the perfect stroke for Yankee Stadium. He loved pulling the ball to right field.

He also actually hit in the playoffs which is something we haven't done for shit the last two years.
