Calvin could lead the NFL in yards and TDs for the next 3 years (like he likely will) and you guys would still say Andre or Fitz is better.

Haters gon hate.
So he does it for 1 season, and all of a sudden hes the best?

Lets forget that Andre has been injured and Fitz hasnt exactly had a stable QB all season like Calvin has.

Fitz and Andre are the better WRs. Is calvin having the better year? Yes.. Hes top 3, just not top 2.

So your saying that 1 good year, after countless injuries, Stafford is one of the best QB's in the league. He hasnt won anything or shown any consistency in his young career to be ahead of both of them.
If that isn't what he's saying, it is what I'm saying. He's shown these flashes since his rookie year. This season wasn't a fluke, and it would've been even better had he not hurt his hand. And this is coming from a Titan fan. I have no affiliation to the Lions at all.

You are so wish-washy that it blows my damn mind lol.
You made like 3 contradictions to things you said earlier in the year in this one post.

He showed perfectly well he is durable enough to play a full 16 games. He wasn't a 5th round draft pick or something, he went 1st overall. He had the season of one of the best QBs in the league, so just because he is young he can't be one of the best QBs in the league?
And it isn't even bout the stats with him, the passes the kid makes is fucking incredible. He also has a fucking cannon.

And can someone tell me what the fuck Romo has done in his career that makes him any better than Stafford lol.

That is not what you are contradicting.
You can say the same thing next year too, but when Calvin does it again, will the excuse be 2 good years? lol.

Watching Stafford in his first full season makes me feel good about the future.

If Stafford statistically beats Romo and Manning next year and wins a playoff game then I will put him ahead but as of right now he is a QB with a history of injuries with 1 great year under his belt.

With that logic I could say Victor Cruz is better than Roddy, Fitz, and Marshall because he had a better statistical year. He is also in his 1st year as a starter and had 1500 yards receiving and hes only 25. But Im not going to say that because he has to demonstrate a high level of consistency to be considered in that class.

I just want Locker to play next year. Sure I'm a homer a bit toward him, but he's shown some amazing talent. I think he's got the tools, and if Britt can recover, do something similar to Stafford in a few years.

That Stafford guy is definitely pretty good. As long as he can stay healthy, he has everything necessary to be a great QB in the NFL. I'd take him over the two QB's discussed - Eli/Tony. He's really young and on a team that has a bright future, he'll only get better. If I was to start a team, I'd want him as my QB over the other two. He has all of the tools to be an elite QB in the NFL. He has a cannon and throws beautiful deep balls with good accuracy. Give him the time necessary and he'll pick defenses apart. If the Lions fail to get anywhere in the playoffs, it will be because of their defense. They'll put up a good fight with the Saints as they did when they played a few weeks ago, Detroit basically gave that game away by stupid.........stupid penalties. If there's a team that can compete with the Saints aside from the Packers, it's the Lions because they can put up points. Plus, they play better indoors, just will need to deal with that crowd noise.

I expect a nice shootout.
If the defense can get a few stops, I think we have a nice shot.
I don't think they will shut down Stafford.
But we probably wont stop Brees either lol.

Yeah, like I said.. If they didn't commit all those stupid penalties they did that game, it's hard telling what could have happened. However, that was a few weeks ago, none of that matters now, the time is now. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Understandable. I can say the same thing about the Bengals, while a win would be nice, I can't be unhappy with the season they had despite what happens especially with the off season and everything that went on with Palmer, Ochocinco etc. Just need a good draft and a good free agency to build on what has already been put into place. I find it very ironic that Palmer wanted out, he goes to another team, misses the playoffs and the Bengals get in with a Rookie QB & WR.

Saying Calvin Johnson is better than Andre and Fitz is like saying Eli is better than Roethlisberger..... its just flat out not true.

Calvin has been the best WR in 2011-12. But Andre missed more than half the year, and with Yates at QB towards the end, they didnt throw the ball as much. Actually, ever since Arian Foster ran that 200+ yard game against the Colts in 2010-11, and the Texans found out Foster was good, they havent thrown the ball nearly as much. And Fitz hasnt been the same since Kurt retired.

Stafford is a very good QB in the league. While kam may not take Calvin over Andre or Fitz (I wouldnt either), anyone would take Stafford and Calvin over Yates/Andre and Kolb/Fitz.

Detroit also just flat out throws the ball more. DET leads the league in pass attempts, while the Cards are 15th, Texans are 31st. And even though the Cards throw alot, they are 29th in completion percentage. Detroit is 2nd to last in rush attempts, Houston is tied for 1st.
