Why are you two playing the if game? They both missed the majority of the season last season and both teams sucked

Dallas has a better rush defense but Detroit has had a better pass defense. If the Cowboys had a pass defense at all they'd easily be in the playoffs right now. And I disagree with you about which team would be better, but like I said, this is all my opionion/speculation. You have the right to disagree and I knew you would.
The Cowboys defense is better than ours, period.
If you wanna put it like this, I believe Stafford on the Cowboys could have led them to a playoff berth.
I think Romo does the same for the Lions, but he wasn't able to do it for the Cowboys..

I'm not so sure. The Cowboys, despite, what I'd argue was Romo's best season as a pro, had too many flaws to make the playoffs (mainly stemming from Rob Ryan's defense).

I think he does, basically because I have no doubt in my mind that Stafford is a better QB than Romo. And I'm sure most would agree.

My stance:

I'm most impressed by Matt Stafford's season, among he, Romo, and Manning.

The most valuable for adding wins to his team (or would translate to the most wins playing for one of the other 2 teams) is Eli, followed by Romo.

Exactly what I'm saying...

I disagree. But there is no way of determining that.

I know man, hence why I've been saying all along that it's an opinion, and I respect yours.

And the end of the day I just feel like Stafford is a better QB than both Romo and Eli. Period.

Statistically, yes. But he also doesn't have nearly the sample size in his career that the other two do, so you can't put him on their level yet.

Now answer your PMs?

For the record, I'd take Stafford. In 5 years, Stafford will be a top 3 QB.

Heard the same thing when I said Calvin was the best WR.
Now I believe it is pretty foolish to say he isn't the best.

IDK, I'm still waiting on the inevitable injury that has plagued Stafford since he was drafted.

It's a toss-up between the top 3. Andre Johnson was hurt all year, but healthy, I'd still take him.

After Stafford's 1st full season, you can see that the potential is there. As for right now, the better QB is Eli, than Romo, Stafford. That could change depending on each players success in the playoffs, and of the three, Eli has that.

Calvin could lead the NFL in yards and TDs for the next 3 years (like he likely will) and you guys would still say Andre or Fitz is better.

Haters gon hate.

So your saying that 1 good year, after countless injuries, Stafford is one of the best QB's in the league. He hasnt won anything or shown any consistency in his young career to be ahead of both of them.

Stafford is the purest passer. I'd take Stafford injury risk, and all, solely based on the potential he's showing. He has the potential to break Brady's records, especially with Calvin being there. I'd take Stafford over anyone other than the Big 3 (Brady, Rodgers, Brees). Stafford IMO is the next closest to elite in the league.
