David Stern needs to come down off his high horse and let actual NBA experienced people do their job. Eric Bledsoe ISN'T a deal breaker.

I'm hearing Gordon and the T'wolves pick is involved, then I also hear that Gordon is not involved.

I really hope the Clippers keep one of those 2.
Clippers aren't keeping both when the best PG in the world will sign an extension with you.

Way I figure, more people are reporting Gordon is in the deal than not. Just patiently waiting I guess. Be warned though, if Stern vetos this deal because Bledsoe isn't involved, I will do more bitching than anyone on this site has ever witnessed, so stay out of my way lol

It's going to be Bledsoe and the pick. I'd try and top 3 protect the Wolves pick and give the option to swap with the Clippers own pick if the Wolves is top 3.
ive read that they plan to make it top three protected.

i guess i can understand why stern wants eric bledsoe in the deal. he wouldnt have a spot on the clippers if they get this deal down. with cp3/mo/eg.. where does bledsoe get time? i can see stern wanting him to go to minny just because hes young, has potential, and can get playing time.. though im probably thinking too deep about that. lol

I love this 2012 class, but the Clippers might not be too fucked even if they end up giving up a top pick bc it's so PF heavy. If it ends up top 2 and they have a chance at Drummond, that'd be pretty sick even with DeAndre most likely coming back... Or if it's a bit lower, and they get Lamb and can deal Gordon? This trade gives them a very balanced lineup with no room for improvement through this draft imo. But for value purposes, they definitely should try and protect themselves from being the team who gave up the GOAT Anthony Davis or the 2ndGOAT Andre Drummond.

Noway Stern allows this trade without Gordon involved. Then you would have another big three being formed which is reportedly one of the reasons he turned down the Lakers trade.

I said one of the two.... <_<

From what I hear they don't want Gordon's name "in the trade" because of the whole Lamar Odom situation...but i'm pretty sure he'll be gone.

I still don't see why the Clippers won't give up Bledsoe, they don't need him lol.

I as a fan would take Gordon and the first and would be MORE than happy. I don't need Kaman's expiring, Aminu, Bledsoe etc. Is it even guaranteed that the pick will be top 4 or 5? No.

BUT, I'm not talking about me at all. Don't know why you made that assumption. I'm talking about Stern. I would be surprised though if Gordon isn't involved when Bledsoe is supposedly the holdup (who is out two months).

I mistyped, meant the Clippers aren't going to keep one of those two if CP has infact said he's willing to sign an extension.

He would have gone into FA with the Lakers too, he can't get nearly as much money if he doesn't. I don't remember the exact number, but it was pretty large. From what I heard he would pick up his option, then the next year would sign an extension in FA with the Clips.

He'd be getting around $100M if he opts out and re-signs. Not sure what he would get if he just resigned. I think its same salary but 1 less year because he'd get less years and it would be on top of that Option year he makes next season.

Not sure what the # is if he picks up his option and goes FA in 2013 and resigns.

It would be 4 years compared to 5, but the salary increase would be lost too.

Sources say in addition to Bledsoe, league asking for another pick from Minny. Stern is trying to make this impossible.

Another pick from Minny lol. They aren't even in the trade.

I don't buy that rumor at all.

Probably just a typo, but good god Stern.

How long until we read "Clippers pull out of Chris Paul trade."

BREAKING: Commissioner David Stern has asked that in addition to Eric Gordon, Al-Farouq Aminu, Chris Kaman, Eric Bledsoe, and eighty first round picks the Clippers also trade the rights to their name and logos as well.
