lol I've just been joking around with you when I call you a Clipper fan and stuff.
it's ok
i know who i am

i figure being a dodger fan and not being a USC or UCLA fan would prove im no bandwagon
like i said, in 06 i rooted for the suns who broke my heart over the clips

but LA is definitely a bandwagon town. Clips could steal the town with this
if i was a 10 year old starting to watch bball, i'd lean clips no doubt

good for them
i've seen the struggles

clipper fans are cool
lakers fans are annoying as can be. i hate them
media is full of laker jocks no matter what. they'll be focused on the lakers more than the clips, unlike the dodgers/angels where they go with the flavor of the month

Clipper fans are going to come out of the woodwork's and become annoying now that they're gonna be good. It's hard to be annoying when your team blows lol.

stuff like this is why i hate laker fans
this is from a laker forum

CP3's career will be going to waste with every season he stays on the Clippers. We all know they're a complete joke. They've never been and never will be serious about winning. I'm not just annoyed that we didn't get him. As a basketball fan, I'm annoyed that CP3's career just landed in the gutter and will now go to waste.
if the lakers get Lou Williams, i'm over everything
and sign Josh McRobertts

Every team has those fans.

Also, it looks like you underestimated David Stern's GMing skills. He got Dell Demps a better deal.

yeah you're right
not all laker fans are dumb.

and it depends with the trade
the other one had better players that they could flip for assets easily

but this one is better if you're trying to go 100% for the future
i guess stern wanted him to completely tank. the old trade lets them do both

The previous trade you couldn't tank with. Now you get Bledsoe, Aminu and two top 10 picks at worst.

What if the Clips offer Gordon, Jordan and future picks for Dwight?

The New Orleans Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers submitted a multiplayer blockbuster deal to the NBA on Sunday that would send All-Star point guard Chris Paul to Los Angeles, a source with knowledge of the discussions said Monday.

But the trade as presented has one hitch: The league, which owns the Hornets, wanted Eric Bledsoe, while the Clippers want to keep their point guard, the source said.

The deal would be done if the league hadn't asked for Bledsoe, according to the source.

The trade as submitted would cost the Clippers guard Eric Gordon, center Chris Kaman and forward Al-Farouq Aminu. It would also include Minnesota's first-round draft pick in 2012.

The Los Angeles Times, citing two sources familiar with the discussions, reported late Sunday the deal included Bledsoe, but the source told ESPN that is not so.

the deal has been submitted for approval. eric gordan, al farouq, kaman, and two firsts for cp3. clippers also expected to match deandre's offer sheet. chris paul also expected to sign extension.

way better deal for new orleans. good deal for clippers but not great. losing eric and two firsts is gonna suck.

I'm hearing Gordon and the T'wolves pick is involved, then I also hear that Gordon is not involved.

I really hope the Clippers keep one of those 2.

The trade as submitted would cost the Clippers guard Eric Gordon, center Chris Kaman and forward Al-Farouq Aminu. It would also include Minnesota's first-round draft pick in 2012.

A source close to Paul said he has decided to pick up the option on his contract as part of the potential deal, meaning he would be in Los Angeles through at least the 2012-2013 season.

The Clippers knew Paul was unlikely to sign an extension with any team that trades for him because the rules in place in the NBA's new labor agreement make it more advantageous for top stars to play the season out and then sign a longer deal in free agency, even if they're staying with the same team.

Sources told ESPN.com Sunday that the Clippers, in one scenario, merely wanted Paul to pick up the option at the time of the trade -- thus delaying his free agency by one year -- if they would cede one of their two most prized trade assets for Paul: Eric Gordon or a future No. 1 draft pick.

In a similar situation in February, Mo Williams agreed to pick up his option for the 2011-12 season to clinch the Clippers' deal with Cleveland that swapped Williams for Baron Davis.
i dont know what the fuck is going on lol. the clippers want cp3 bad but im not sure if trading eg and the minny pick for him is too smart. they need to keep one or the other.

If I were the Clipps I'd say ok, take Bledsoe, but we get to keep Gordon or the pick...

I don't know why they want to keep Bledsoe so bad lol. They will have Paul and MoWill.

It's going to be Bledsoe and the pick. I'd try and top 3 protect the Wolves pick and give the option to swap with the Clippers own pick if the Wolves is top 3.
