Hopefully, the guys actually looking like a above avg defender out there.
I've only seen him play the Yankees but if he's that good defensively all the time he is most definitely an above average defender.

I prefer the Yankees to beat the Tigers in the post-season.. CC at least signed with a team outside of the division unlike that douche V-Mart...

But I do think it's funny Indians fans boo Peralta lol

Yeah he was projected to be an average defender at 3B at least but I guess he proved the scouts wrong.

I don't see anyone beating the Phillies in the playoffs. Only team that would concern me if I was them, would be the Braves just because of that pen.

The media is talking about how the Tigers could be dangerous because you have to face Verlander twice in a short series. Well, against the Phillies, they have 3 guys who are just as good that you have to face every single game lol.

V-Mart was a big reason we won today, so I understand the frustration there & I clearly wouldn't expect anything less coming from an Indians fan, the Tigers are most likely going to be the reason they lose the division, so I understand the frustration there as well. As far as the Cleveland fans booing Peralta, I wouldn't expect anything less out of them either, it's Cleveland.

Frustration? lol, I was joking about V-Mart btw..

And Cleveland fans boo Peralta because no one likes him here... And I think it's funny you're ripping Cleveland fans when you were practically an Indians fans two years ago.

I did like Cleveland, I liked Sizemore but wasn't an avid MLB fan, now I've gotten into it a lot more and trying to support my home teams more so than before. I was never big on baseball until the last year, or so.

Fister sure has been a nice addition for the Tigers so far, I've really liked what I've seen out of him and he's actually getting some run support now.

How does it feel to know that you only got one valuable piece back for CC Sabathia, Cliff Lee, and Victor Martinez?

I would argue that Michael Brantley, Carlos Carrasco, Justin Masterson, and Nick Hagadone are all valuable to this team. LaPorta has been a bust but getting the type of haul we did for V-Mart makes up for it a bit. Also I'm not giving up on Jason Knapp, who we also got in the Cliff Lee deal.. He's still only like 19.
But the trades don't look good now, which is surprising to me because the Indians have done a good job of basically stealing prospects from teams. (Choo for Ben Broussard, Asdrubal for Eduardo Perez, Santana for Blake, Chris Perez for Mark DeRosa, that Bartolo trade a long time ago, etc..)

Brantley is hitting like .260, Carrasco has a 4.6 ERA, and Nick Hagadone got smacked around in his first MLB appearance.

I understand that Brantley and Carrasco both experienced success at points this season but who knows if that's a sign of things to come or just a fluke.

I'm pretty sure Brantley has been dealing with nagging injuries all year but he's a solid hitter, has shown the ability to be a lead off guy. He's pretty good defensively in left field as well.

Carrasco has really good stuff, but has struggled to find consistency, but he did have a great stretch earlier this year. Mid 90s fastball, good slider, great change up and mixes in a 2 seamer. He just needs to control his emotions on the mound. Carrasco probably has the best stuff on the Indians, aside from Ubaldo.

and I don't know how you can use one appearance to judge a player lol, especially his debut.
